When it comes to a picture perfect location, it really doesn't get any better than the Zuri Resort Kumarakom. The 18 acre site is a haven of lush greenery with a delightful lakeside position. Each of the well-appointed rooms all come with a private veranda perfect for watching the sun come up (or go down), or to enjoy a cool drink as you savour the peace and tranquillity that surrounds you. Perfect family resort in Kumarakom
We visited Kumarakom for our family summer vacation and had a wonderful stay at Zuri. One of the largest resorts in Kumarakom, family-friendly and perfect for kids.
What we loved: • Beautiful expansive lake within the property connected to Kumarakom Lake. Walking around the lake and fishing was memorable. Caught some Karimeen (Pearl Spot). • Cozy and comfortable rooms. • Extremely warm and courteous staff throughout the resort. A special mention to Subhankar at the dining area, who was exceptionally hospitable and made our stay even more memorable. • Delicious food across both buffet breakfast and à la carte dining. The Chicken Banzara is a must-try! • Excellent location right beside Kumarakom Lake.
Areas for improvement: • Buffet lunch/dinner was not available on all days. • Hot and humid weather during our visit, though that’s more seasonal than property-related.
Overall, a highly recommended resort for families visiting Kumarakom.
Amazing Family Stay with Wonderful Hospitality
Had a wonderful stay at The Zuri Kumarakom Resort & Spa with my family. The resort ambiance, hospitality, and overall experience were truly amazing. The staff were very courteous and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Special thanks to Abhishek 1, Abhishek 2 😄, and Nithin for their care and support during our stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!

The property is exceptionally beautiful and the stay along side the staff that has been working are extremely hospitable and extremely kind making it an amazing experience. The reason for 4 stars is mainly the things that may be lacking 1st the moment we arrived at the reception i left my car the staff unloaded all the baggages i was then told to park the car to the parking they also sent a buggy to pick me back from the parking spot as its quite a walk from the reception but after checking in if you have to go to the parking or come back from it there is no assist. Secondly the for the rooms the temp is set between 20-24 degrees for all the catagories for the rooms the only issue i faced was the ac hardly cooled reason being the room was too big for the size of the vents provided as the sealing height for the cottage rooms were too high as well as the placement of the vents being at quite a height causing all the air to go up rather than towards your guests the fan did compensate for the lack of cooling in the room so it was managable we also did request a repair for the same the guy did turn up but didn't make much difference other than that the stay and the staff provided it to be an extremely good stay
A Great Experience
We had a very nice and relaxing stay at The Zuri Kumarakom. The resort is in a beautiful backwater location with a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful, especially Mr. Nikhil and Mr. Santosh. The pool and spa were very good and made our stay even better, and the gardens were well maintained and pleasant. The food was okay but could be better. We also liked the small thoughtful details, like how quickly they provided a hygienic sanitary pad with proper packing. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
