We went to Muscat Oman with the family for a week on a half board basis staying at the Intercontinental Hotel. It was a very comfortable stay and as my wife is vegetarian she had no problem with the choice of food. Also the chef Sunny made sure she was comfortable and went out of his way to make her vegetarian dishes and guide her through all the food on the buffet. All in all highly recommend this hotel with all staff by the pool also very helpful 😄

Muscat Intercontinental

Beautiful hotel with the most attentive, helpful and kind staff
This wasn’t my first time at an intercontinental hotel but I have to say - the best thing about this trip wasn’t just the beautiful property and facilities but the manager and staff who were the most attentive I have ever experienced. Specially Mr shivam Pathak make our dining experience special by suggesting us nice cocktail and food Pad Thai was so delicious my family never forget the taste of it  And hospitality of Mr shivam .
The attention detail and response of service was swift and over and above .The trader Vic’s staff were just so lovely. Really genuinely nice people who want to make sure they get everything right for their guests.

Amazing hospitality

We spent a week and took the half board package. Our upper floor room had a pleasant city view. The air conditioning was pleasantly efficient and the bed was huge and comfortable.The hotel was clean with excellent amenities  - in particular both swimming pool areas were staffed by helpful and friendly life guards - towels and cooling flannels and iced water were always available. The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and delicious. The cocktails at Tomato (restaurant) and Trader Vics were superb.

A relaxing stay.

Although this is one of the older hotels, it is maintained to a high standard, with good facilities such as pools, restaurants, gym. We liked our sea view balcony room which had a beautiful view over the pools and the sea and very comfortable beds. Good standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Excellent breakfast with a very wide choice of foods. Attentive and helpful staff everywhere, we particularly appreciated Ahmed Bawshi at reception who always made an extra effort to accommodate our requests.

Would stay again

The service is very good and I would like to particularly highlight Maher Concierge . He saved our vacation. When we wanted to leave for the airport, the battery of our rental car was dead.Maher helped us immediately and came with his car and gave us a jump start. Without Maher we would never have made it to the airport on time. Thank you very much for that!…………
