We had an amazing stay at this Amazing Hotel (the best 5 star in Oman)! The location is perfect — right by the sea, peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are stylish, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious and made with fresh local ingredients,Jenny make a great service,

A special mention to Morris, who made our stay unforgettable — always friendly, helpful, and full of great tips about the Oman. His kindness and hospitality truly made the difference.

Best 5 star hotel in Oman

We have stayed at The Chedi Muscat several times, and it is always a special experience. From the moment we arrive, there is a sense of calm and elegance that makes it feel like a true escape.
The gardens are lush, the design is beautifully minimalist, and the pools are stunning. The food is consistently excellent.
Service is where The Chedi truly shines. People who made our stay special:
•	Anton, Mustapha, and Suresh in the main restaurant are all brilliant - professional, warm, and always on point. Anton is incredible in his high standards, attention to detail and customer care. Mustapha is dynamic, and he & Anton make it all happen in the main restaurant, supported by a great team.
•	The service at the Beach Restaurant is equally great. Muzzamil, the excellent manager oversees a fantastic team, including Jebs and Subash all welcoming and super-efficient. Muzzamil brings warmth and charm to every interaction, making each meal feel like a special occasion.
•	Silar and her breakfast team greet you with smiles every morning. Ghalia has been so lovely too.
•	Chef Adan’s fruit displays are beautiful, and he is always happy to accommodate special requests.
•	Chef Anan and Chef Galan have been amazing with gluten-free Thai breakfasts, so thoughtful and caring.
•	Om used to be at the Long Pool is one of those rare people who genuinely cares, such a kind soul.
•	Zahir & Manni have looked after us in the past with kindness and efficiency, always ensuring we are comfortable and cared for.
•	Akhilesh, one of the breakfast managers, ensures dietary requests are met and supports his team wonderfully.
At the Chedi Pool:
•	Jameel, Hazaa, and Abas always greet us with big smiles, such a welcoming team. Their manager Steve is great too - calm, capable, and clearly respected by the team.
The Gym: is state-of-the-art gym, all the equipment we could ever want, we used it daily. Pillay and his gym team offer first-class PT service, and Pillay’s afternoon yoga sessions on the lawn are a highlight of our stay. One of the reasons we come back to the Chedi.
On the beach:
•	Pandiyan and Virag by the beach are attentive and thoughtful, they make relaxing by the sea even better. Both give 100% every single day. 
•	Sarvesh is a star, he works so hard sweeping the sand off the walkways, always cheerful and proud of the job he does. We loved seeing him each day.
Khameese - the lifeguard always greets like old friends and keeps a safe eye on us in the water.
•	In the main lobby Ruhail is constantly and diligently keep every surface sparkling – always with a smile and warmth towards guests.
Gardens: The grounds are meticulously maintained, with Riyaz and his team ensuring every palm and petal contributes to the resort’s lush, calming atmosphere.
Behind the scenes:
•	Dr. Layth keeps everything running smoothly, always checking and tweaking to make sure the hotel is in top shape. A professional who is  committed to his job and the reputation of the Chedi.
•	Nitish from housekeeping has kept our room spotless – he is a ray of sunshine.
•	Mr. Sharma, FM Manager, quietly keeps an eye on everything making sure standards stay high.
•	Annie at the front desk is a total pro - she solves any issue quickly and with a smile.
•	Gary from housekeeping is a lifesaver, always responsive and helpful.

And finally, it is great to see the new GM, Mr. Sakr, around the resort.  He is clearly passionate about the beach and the hotel as a whole. It is inspiring to see that kind of leadership

Feels Like Coming Home - Every Time

The Chedi is one of our best hotel experiences ever. When entering the hotel lobby, you don’t just feel like a regular guest, but welcomed at heart by the whole team. 
Just upon arrival, I realised that I had lost my mobile in the taxi from the airport. Essam from Guest relations was in charge and took care of it immediately. After a few calls, the taxi was located and they sent their own security guys (Haitham and Nasir) to get my mobile. 
Thank you all, you did an amazing job! And thank you for your dedication and making our stay as unforgettable as it was!

I spent the day at The Chedi Muscat on a day pass, and it was absolutely perfect. The pool areas are stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere is pure luxury. The service made the experience even better.

Exceptional Pool Day at the Chedi

I had just one night at the Chedi Muscat before joining a group tour. I wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed in a deluxe club room, which was very nice although not very large. It looked out onto one of the many pools in the grounds. This is such a beautifully designed hotel in a modern Arabic style, low level, green with plenty of water features by day and artfully lit at night. 

I spent my day at the pool on the beach, where staff were very attentive, bringing towels, iced water etc. I had a nice lunch in the Chedi beach restaurant. It can be a bit difficult finding a spot with shade there - the number of shady places is restricted and it was very hot. 

In the evening, I had made a reservation at the Beach Restaurant but it was cancelled shortly before my arrival in favour of a group (not so happy about that). Having enjoyed the cocktails and canapes provided by the very friendly Club lounge staff, however, I didn't need dinner so that worked out fine.

The one suggestion I would have for the Management is that it would be good to provide an air conditioned and enclosed area for passengers who arrive in the early morning (as most flights from Europe seem to) to use until check-in at 2 pm, where they can open their suitcases to get swimwear out (rather than having to do that on the lobby floor) and get a shower. There is a lounge which provides drinks and fruit but it is not private and does not have bathroom facilities. Conversely, guests checking out at 12 midday could use the same area to get showered, changed and repack their bags before their flights home in the early evening. The lack of such a facility is quite and omission for such a good hotel. I saw people camping out on loungers by the pools, asleep and fully dressed with all their hand luggage prior to early afternoon check-in, which is not great in 30 - 36 degrees C.
