A definite place to stay at CITY MAX Bur Dubai. Responsive employees, good ambience. Clean and good options to dine and relax as well.

⭐ 1/5 | Worst hotel experience I've ever had

Stayed for 5 days and genuinely regret spending my money here. I understand it's a budget hotel, but the service was cheaper than the price itself.

Zero hospitality from arrival. Nobody helped with luggage, and I even saw a lady struggling with 2 suitcases and 3 bags with no assistance. We practically had to beg to leave our luggage there.

Very limited food options, mostly Indian food for breakfast/lunch. The pool was under maintenance for the entire 5 days. Room service was terrible, staff came whenever they wanted, did the bare minimum, and acted like replacing towels or mugs was a favor.

The service line doesn't answer, requests are ignored, and you have to go to reception for basic things. Keycard didn't work properly. Old TV with almost nothing to watch.

Food orders were forgotten or brought incorrectly, and sometimes staff acted like we never ordered.

This felt like they only wanted your money so you could sleep in a bed. I'm not expecting luxury from a budget hotel, just basic hospitality and customer service.

There are many hotels at similar prices with much better service. Save your money and stay somewhere else. I would not recommend this hotel.

Had an amazing stay at City Max! I would like to thank the entire City Max team for making our trip so comfortable and memorable. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.

A special thanks to Saroj from the Housekeeping team. Our room was always spotless and perfectly maintained. Thank you, champ—you did an amazing job!

Also, a big thank you to the gentleman at the Coffee Shop (I think his name was Janam, apologies if I got it wrong). Your hospitality and positive attitude made every visit enjoyable.

A huge thanks to the Front Office Team for giving us one of the best rooms in the property, with an absolutely stunning view of the Burj Khalifa. Waking up to that view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay!

Last but not least, a special thank you to John from the Security team at High So Club. You truly know how to take care of guests visiting the club and made us feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout the evening. Your professionalism and kindness really stood out.

Thank you once again to everyone at City Max for such wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dubai!
