This was our fifth stay at GH after a two year COVID break and as always they deliver service at its best. We had celebrated our anniversary a few years ago here and they remembered the date and surprised us with a belated one, nice touch. We always stay 8 nights half board and level 5 room access which is totally worth paying extra. They have a good choice of drinks and have added some new cocktails since we last stayed. The hotel has some of my favourite restaurants in Dubai , Buddha bar is even better as now has dancers and acts as well as the usual DJ plus did the best lychee martinis...
If you are like us to old to go to clubs but still enjoy that vibe it’s perfect night out. My only negative from this trip was the beach at the sister hotel you can use Le Royal Meridien was as it was busy we couldn’t get a sun bed one day ,the reason was some super selfish guests had put towels on beach beds which they left vacant all morning till lunch time as they had beds by the pool as well. I saw this happen all week! Felt sorry for beach guys as they said made their work twice as hard so this needs to be addressed ASAP The reason we return to this hotel is the staff as they truly amazing. Thank you.
I stayed here with a large delegation of colleagues for a trade event.
Located in Dubai Marina, the hotel is on the Marina Walk so it is convenient for jogging or walking or eScooters. There are several restaurants in the hotel and within an easy walk. There is also a shuttle service to the beachside Royal Meridian sister hotel which has more restaurants and direct beach access...
The Grosvenor House is a business hotel, whereas the Royal Meridian is a resort.
The Grosvenor House has a Marriott lounge located in Tower 2 on the 5th floor. They have a great selection of breakfast, afternoon tea and evening snacks and drinks in a very comfortable surrounding. There are lounge areas, dining areas and a bar area.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very efficient. My pre-departure CoVID test was scheduled efficiently although there was a glitch with results delivery being more than the promised 10hours. The concierge intervened and fixed that. Other colleagues reported that, despite having been told they could pay credit card for their tests, the machine was strangely “broken” when the time came and then had to go find an ATM.
I was fortunate to be upgraded during my stay. I ended up in a 2 bedroom hotel apartment. Obviously way more space than needed but a nice touch. It appears that, like many luxury hotels, they have attempted to developed a serviced apartment offering and have some excess capacity. Or they are aiming for long stay Customers as well as regular guests.
Overall Grosvenor House is fine as a business hotel. It’s location is fine. There are likely many other hotels in better locations in Dubai and with similar or better amenities. But overall fine.
I've stayed in numerous hotels in Dubai, including sister property Royal Meridien (which is also excellent), and Grosvenor House is certainly 'up there'. My room was spacious, quiet, good bedding and very well maintained. Restaurant options were many and varied and all of a high standard...
But the exceptional thing was the staff who, without exception, were eager, warm and professional - they also appear to be enjoying themselves, the management are clearly doing something right ! Location is good, right on the marina with a shuttle bus (which is sometimes a bit infrequent) over to the Meridien and the beach. So all in all, highly recommended.
We had a 7 night stay here and we were absolutely blown away by the level of service we received from each and every member of staff. This is an amazing hotel in a wonderful location and we will be sure to return. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom residence suite and enjoyed everything the executive lounge had to offer. The shuttle bus provides access to LMR and we enjoyed our days on the beach and by the pool there too.
Had an absolutely amazing stay here. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The food was also very good, especially in the lounge, with so much variety every single day (I definitely recommend upgrading to the lounge if you can)...
Celebrated a birthday during the trip and the hotel made us feel so special and put so much effort in. There are nicely sized pools and gyms in both towers as well as access to Le Royal Meridian beach with a regular shuttle service, which is a great extra touch. Have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be returning.
