- Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina

This 5 star hotel is located on the coastline of Dubai and was established in 1994. It is close to the Jumeirah beach and the nearest station is Nakheel Metro Station 1. The Hotel has 4 restaurants, 4 bars, a conference room, a coffee shop, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre/gym. All 211 rooms are equipped with minibar, hairdryer, safe and air conditioning.
We visited Le Méridien Mina Seyahi on a day pass, so this review is purely based on the pool, beach, grounds and waterpark facilities rather than the hotel rooms.
One thing we really liked was how easy the day pass was. We didn’t need to book in advance — we just turned up, paid and were given our wristbands. The process was really straightforward. It was also cheaper to visit during the week than at the weekend, and the cost of the day pass was offset against food and drinks, which we thought made it pretty good value.
We arrived at around 11am, so understandably some of the better-positioned sunbeds around the pool had already been taken. There were plenty available on the grass, which we wouldn’t have minded, but unfortunately the grassy area was absolutely full of ants. We couldn’t really put bags or belongings on the floor without them becoming covered in ants, and even things left on the table ended up with ants on them. This definitely needs looking at.
The grounds in general could also do with a little more attention. Some areas didn’t feel particularly well maintained and some of the sunbeds and furniture were starting to look quite worn and in need of a refresh.
On the positive side, the pool service was excellent. The staff looking after food and drinks were incredibly attentive and worked so hard, especially considering how hot and busy it was. They genuinely couldn’t do enough for us.
The main pool is salt water rather than chlorine, which we actually really liked. One thing to be aware of if visiting with children, though, is that much of the main pool is quite deep. Our seven-year-old is a confident swimmer but could only really stand comfortably around the pool-bar area. There are separate children’s pools, so it wasn’t a major issue, but it’s worth knowing beforehand.
We also used the Jungle Bay waterpark. It’s quite small and basic compared with some of Dubai’s larger waterparks, but our seven-year-old really enjoyed it. I’d say it’s somewhere to spend an hour or two or dip in and out of during the day rather than somewhere you would spend the entire day. There also aren’t really sunbeds around the waterpark, so you tend to leave your belongings on the beanbags rather than setting yourself up there for the day.
Overall, we enjoyed our day and the excellent pool service was probably the standout for us. The day-pass system is easy and good value, particularly midweek, and having the waterpark included is great if you have children. The main thing letting it down was that some of the grounds and furniture felt a little tired, and the ant problem around the grassy sunbed area definitely needs addressing.
We had really good experience in the breakfast and especially thank you Htet yati who's taking care about us for every single detail . She made our days light with her beautiful smile and service. Thank you all the team members. We will be back soon .
We had avert good experience. The service was great and the people were friendly specially Htet Yoli. She was very pleasant with her welcoming smile and friendly attitude. Definitely recommended.
Very good location near the Marina. The atmosphere was vibrant with lots of people around. The room was good and spacious. The staff was very prompt in adding the additional bed. The value for money could have been better as it is a non peak time in dubai for visitors. The cleanliness was never a problem. The hotel staff were always on the job making sure the place was immaculate. The corridor was at some points a little noisy which is understandable considering this is a resort catered to family stays. The amenities were great highliting the Water park, kids club and the pools. Only suggestion would be to maybe open a little earlier than 10am. As a platinum elite member I was a little dissapointed at the initial check in process. Even though it was quite busy and the staff did as well as they could I did find that the acknowledgment of status wasn't there and it was almost a botheresome to even mention any of the status privileges. However this was greatly improved by the staff at the Latest Recipe cafe. Highlight has to go to Jamshir, Atet Yati and Sarath. Great hospitality on there behalf.
We had a great time at le meridian monha subahi. All the employees were nice. Must recomened on Vinoth Antony, he helped us in every thing we ask.
