We stayed in Marco polo last time and the service was good but today is our second time we choose coz we liked but this time the telephone is not working in 2nd floor the door key is not working properly and we ask for the tea electric cattle 2 times 1 time I ask to reception and house keeping as well but no one bring it and we ask for change our room and reception said no you can change . How come the reception can say no you can not change if guest dont like it . Next time we will choose another hotel thank You . We stayed in 220 every time if we need something we can not go all the way down to inform receptionists?
The hotel is substandard in all regard. Despite my request for a quiet room, I was given a room right above the disco and next to spa, (which was hardly a spa). Further the room faced the main street and so there was constant traffic...
The bathroom was leaking. They use broken cutlery and in the name of water, they give bottles that are not even corked. No idea how many people use the same bottle. The staff is most unhelpful. (They say, they will change your room and it gtes done after multiple request. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I’ve stayed in this hotel More than one month, the bed cover sheets all of them are dirty, old, blood stinks even they send them to laundry but it still dirty and all of stinks are there. WiFi is so slow. Clean services are always sending pictures of dirty bed sheets but management don’t listen and bring new covers, as this can causes for the guest disease for lack safe and clean. Our information is public our room number as some of stuff don’t respect the guest confidentiality.
This hotel only for one day can guest stay as it’s poor in all hotel service and hospitality.
As a hotelier I’ve been to different hotel over the UAE different chains and categories...however I’ve never experienced such terrible service...at the moment of check in there was no body as the reception suddenly the receptionist ( sampath) came without mask or gloves check in us in he was not even aware about our booking..we went to our room to have some rest we were surprised that he gave us a room with a joined separate beds pretending it’s a king size...after sometime we found a cockroach in the room we asked the housekeeping to come he took ages..normally during low occupancy there is nothing to do..he came without gloves or mask when we asked him he take out the mask from his pocket..then we started checking the room the linen the bed sheet it was sooo dirty they didn’t even provide clean towels..they just provided used towels!!!!! We requested to speak to a DM said that there is no DM!!!! We kept quiet and requested for a room move they offered us a room which even worst than the first one ( I’m attaching some pictures to show how dirty they are)...after a while they upgraded us which we didn’t ask and we don’t need we are just coming for staycation. The linen of the suite was also the same full of hair and dust everywhere it seems like they don’t clean the room they just keep them as they are and they check in and other guest on it and life goes on! The day after the HK executive ( Mangala) he came asking for mercy and not to complain to DTCM because he is still new and he doesn’t want to be terminated in the moment he won’t find a job he asked us to stay he will ask the GM to meet us and the PRO however non of them contacted us, in the third day we were asked to vacant the room without fixing our problem or to apologize we told them that we need a DM to speak with they keep saying no there no DM and Mangala he said you have to check out, we called the police to assist as DTCM were not on duty during Fridays they even assisted us to call the police they don’t bother about they’re reputation they just need MONEY!!! At the end we agreed to file a case on the property with the police we left and I remembered that I forgot my T-shirt I came back again asking for my T-shirt they claimed they didn’t find it and the lady in the reception (Irene) she was provocative she didn’t bother to apologize or even to make an effort to check again ! They stole my T-shirt and saying we didn’t find how cheap they are!!! I will never recommend this property to anyone...the staff they don’t know nothing about hospitality they are just striving to make some dirhams and their pockets !! Shame on them!
From arrival to the hotel till my departure I always felt I was taken care of and I belonged there... Very friendly and helpful staff... Property is very clean and well maintained.....
the room was average in size but very carefully designed to the smallest details... everything I needed was in the room. Curtains and Linens were very good but the towels were a little old. Overall, excellent value for money and a highly recommended place in Dubai...
