A night to remember
My daughters 17th bday. It was a very nice experience. Tun and Sam accommodate us like VIP. Then the food arrive. It was amazing !!! We all ordered rib eye steak w/ 2 sides and got stuffed. Plus a complimentary dessert w/c is also amazing. Complement to chef Aung that made our pallet on the next level. We will definitely come back 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Malibu Sky Lounge afternoon tea
This was our first visit here for an afternoon tea, which was absolutely delicious. Our host Tun was exceptionally polite and helpful. Tun explained to us the afternoon tea and what was in each. We had a really relaxed afternoon and we felt Tun and her colleagues were very welcoming.
Terrible hotel
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, especially considering that we were on our honeymoon. Unfortunately, the hotel was not clean at all. The electrical outlets were not working properly, the internet kept disconnecting, and the air conditioning was not cooling the room. The bathroom was a complete disaster, and the bidet shower was constantly dripping.
We were also given only one toothbrush set even though we were two guests, and our reservation clearly stated that there would be two guests. I had also personally mentioned this in advance. Despite that, the issue was not handled properly.
The room was not cleaned well, and even the blanket/bed cover provided to us was dirty. Towels were not changed regularly, and whenever they were provided, there was often only one set despite us being two guests.
The behavior of the reception staff made the experience even worse. They were rude, cold, and unhelpful, and their attitude was completely inappropriate for a hotel, especially toward guests celebrating their honeymoon.
There was also an issue with the government tax refund. When I paid the tax, I was told that they could not refund it immediately and that I would receive it at check-out. However, when check-out time came, they still said they could not provide the full amount and gave me less money than I was supposed to receive.
Overall, this was far below the standard I expected. The cleanliness, maintenance, service, and staff attitude were all extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel, and I strongly believe that the hotel should take responsibility for these issues and improve its service significantly.
Beyond my expectations
We love the hotel specially the pool, the food and also the staffs Specially Mau for guiding us. Fantastic experiences that will last a lifetime to remember 🥰😘
Paramount Midtown Hotel & Melrose Bar
We had a very good time at the hotel. We visited Melrose bar and had a very good time at the bar. Our barkeeper Nijesh was very friendly and good to talk too. It’s always great to have good people in great places. Overall, we would definitely recommend the hotel and the Melrose bar.
