Here is why today is my last visit to this hotel:
Been in Dubai for 49 years. Been a Marriott-eer for 35 years Been frequenting The Sheraton since I was 8 years old.
The experience:
- The environment has been inhospitable to say the least. When I wanted to take time to place my coffee order, I was treated as someone who is a freeloader - verbatims used by staff:
"You are requested to order" "You can't sit for 3 hours, use the wifi and only order coffee". I actually ordered each time of the 4 or 5 times I sat in the lobby, except for one time, when my stomach was unwell.
Now, if there was a clear rule in place about minimum charge, then it wasn't made clear and when it did days later (upon my request), it carried a tonality of aggression and defensiveness.
- In the parking lot today, I was reversing into a parking, a parked car decided in the same moment to leave the parking, risking hitting my car. So I honked. My honk warning was ignored. 2 hours later while working, Mohammed Nofal (apologies for incorrect name spelling) and Immanuel (security manager) came in to make a statement rather than ask a question:
Verbatim: "It was reported that you shouted at someone in the parking". Proof? Nothing An accusation rather than a question, worsened by an unacceptable tonality? Absolutely. Basically, there was no camera proof that I shouted, which I didn't. This is Dubai, we don't shout at drivers. We honk.
This is an awful guest communication issue delivered by senior personnel in the hotel. As the Marriott, the skills of those who run the place should not just be about making it profitable, but also about communicating with courtesy - which is no longer the case in this iconic hotel.

A special thank you to Latif, Front Desk Manager, and his entire team for their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care throughout the stay. They went above and beyond to ensure our leadership team felt welcomed and exceptionally well taken care of.
The outstanding service and attention shown by the team made a lasting impression. We truly appreciate their efforts and would be happy to recommend Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers to anyone looking for excellent hospitality in Dubai.

Could be better
Front office is good, at the concierge would really love to appreciate and thanks FRANCIS, he is a go to guy, always ready to help beyond the limits, another guy is their who is always rude, doesnt even know how to smile and doesnt know to greet the guest at all. The room was not that I requested but the housekeeping is great.

Please also extend my appreciation to all your Managers and Supervisors, whose leadership and commitment to excellence are clearly reflected in the remarkable standards maintained throughout the hotel. Finally, a special thank you to Joy at Starbucks, whose fantastic service, warm smile, positive energy, and genuine happiness brightened every morning. Joy's kindness and enthusiasm made each day begin on a wonderful note. It is rare to encounter such a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional team working together with such passion and commitment to guest satisfaction. Every member of staff played a part in creating an experience that we will cherish forever. Please share our heartfelt thanks with everyone involved.
