absolutely amazing hotel , spent an amazing ten days here , location wise its a 10 minutes walk to the really good palm jumeirah mall which has plenty restaurants , shops and cinema , there is also a smaller mall closer with supermarket and cafes , the mono rail stop is also within a short walk . A taxi to the marina was about £6 , the dubai mall about £8 and old town Dubai about £10 so its really easy to get about from this hotel aswell the hotel itself is a very quiet hotels , lovely lobby area even the area around the pool is really quiet so although its not an adults only hotel you could never tell . The rooms were spacious , immaculate, cleaned to a high standard every day , with a pillow menu for your choice of pillows, turn down service and a large bathroom , we never took the sea view room but had a really great view of the view tower which looked amazing at night , we looked onto the main road but never heard any noise from it at all One thing that set it apart from other hotels i have stayed at is the constant supply of free water, including at dinner , you get bottles in your room and plenty fountains at pools side but most hotels charge for dinner water but the servers made sure you always had water on your table free of charge , really nice touch . The gym is more than adequate for a hotel gym , its pretty large and has enough of a range that you can get a good workout if you go at the right time , you might struggle if its busy but go early as its 24 hours . The buffet food in the restaurant was good quality always enough of a choice for myself , breakfast lunch or dinner i was never disappointed, another really good touch was you could order poached eggs , eggs benedict or omelette and they would bring it to your table instead of standing around waiting on it , excellent service , if you dont fancy the buffet there is 4 other restaurants you can go to , maybe more , we went to the steak house which was nice and a good experience , they supply you with £30 credit per person which really doesnt stretch far in this restaurant though, we also went to the Italian one a few times as it was lovely book this one in advance though as it gets busy but service is rapid , The most outstanding part of the hotel is the staff the most friendliest welcoming group of people i have met , from the guy at reception who got our room ready for 10am check in , the greeters at the restaurant who remember your name and other details to the guys who work the front door everyone was excellent , every worker i had dealings with was outstanding , A truly amazing hotel and the best one i have stayed in in all my years going which includes the dukes and Fairmont hotels , definitely return as i cannot think of any negatives
We had a really lovely stay. The room was always very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
A special thank you to Bharath and Tafizul, who made our stay even better. They kept our room spotless and were always kind and professional. You can really see that they care about the guests.
I truly hope their hard work is recognized and that they have the opportunity to grow within the hotel, because people like them make a big difference to the overall guest experience. Highly recommended!
Have come here after a long day just checked in and wanted to say massive thank you to Sue at reception who has made our experience fantastic already, gave us a room upgrade and gave a hungry family some credit for in room dining that we missed out for checking in past dining time. I am hoping he can help us with a late check out aswell which he has said he will try. He is a credit to your hotel Marriot group! This hotel is one of the best we have been to and we have been coming Dubai over the last 10 years on a regular basis.
All was very good ,from the check in to every staff in the hotel who are always welcoming with a big smile. Room was beautifully decorated for our anniversary with nice gifts and a bottle of champagne, the facilities are very nice . We had a fantastic stay.
