We had our stay moved from Dar Al Masyaf as it is closed due to the current circumstances. It did not affect our fantastic holiday at all. The hotel and room was great just a bit quiet. The pool was great, so was Blind Tiger for the Happy hour. All the restaurants we used were fantastic.
A massive thank you to everyone at Al Naseem for the incredible service we received throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean Suite, which was fabulous. The front-of-house staff, valet team, executive lounge attendants, housekeeping, pool bar team, and kids' club staff were all outstanding. Every single person we encountered was friendly, professional, attentive, and fantastic with our children. They are a true credit to the resort. We particularly appreciated how warm and engaging everyone was with our family, helping to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish. It is clear that great pride is taken in delivering exceptional guest experiences. There was some construction work taking place at the neighbouring hotel, and on one occasion during the early hours of the morning it was particularly loud. However, after raising the issue with the customer service team the following morning, it was dealt with promptly and professionally. The team apologised, addressed the matter immediately, and we experienced no further disturbance for the remainder of our stay. We have had an amazing holiday, made memories that will last a lifetime, and genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you again to the entire Al Naseem team for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning in the future.
We had booked Dar Al Masyaf but as they are closed we were moved here. But unless I hadnt seen it on the Dubai forum I wouldnt have know as Jumeirah never contacted me, I had booked direct.
We arrived at approx 9.30am but out rooms werent ready. We were taken to the Talise Spa to get changed, although the lady on reception asked if we had to take our suitcase in the changing room?!
We went round the pool and was advised reception would call when rooms ready. No one called so I messaged the e butler who advised the rooms were in fact ready.
We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the turtle lagoon. Both rooms were really spacious and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was lovely huge choice and never waited for a table. Some guests were rude with how they spoke to staff. Just no need for it at all. I WANT juice from red apples and 20 chicken nuggets. This was just one of many occasions other guests spoilt our stay. Im still in shock!
The pool area was nice but we much prefer the Al Qasr pool. Plenty of sunloungers, pool staff all so kind & lovely.
What spoilt the pool experience was the feral, rude entitled children! No manners, how they spoke to staff was terrible. A please and thankyou costs nothing!
Housekeeping was amazing, room always spotless.
We had to ring security one night as until 12.20am children staying in the next room running up and the corridors, banging on doors, screaming, shouting, singing. It was disgusting.
We would never stay in Al Naseem again, we have been staying at Jumeirah properties in Dubai for 18 years, over 30 times and this was the worst trip. No welcome card, no thankyou for loyalty no nothing. We spoke to other guests who had not been before but upgraded to a suite with extra benefits. When we checked out we werent even asked about our stay!
We hated being round the pool that much we went to Nobu by the Beach twice at the Royal Atlantis and Playa Pacha at the Five Luxe.
Sundowners was in Blind Tiger, a dark bark with no atmosphere.
In general very disappointing.
When we were informed that due to renovations taking place at the Al Qasr Hotel, we were being moved to the Al Naseem hotel, we were excited to try another of Jumeirah's Madinat properties. Having previously stayed in the Mina A Salam and Al Qasr hotels, we had no doubts about the high standard offered by Jumeirah.
After being greeted by friendly, yet courteous staff who opened the taxi doors and ensured we weren't encumbered by our luggage, we were shown to the check in desk. Nothing could have prepared us for the surprise upgrade from an entry-level room to a sea-facing suite that we were given. After a brief tour of the rooms (and I say rooms as there were several!), we braved the heat to simply stand on our generous balcony and take in the view of the Arabian Gulf.
I had emailed ahead to say we were celebrating our daughter's exam results and to our surprise, the hotel had prepared a beautiful chocolate cake iced with our daughter's name, complete with handwritten card and plates and cutlery. This was a beautiful touch and exceeded our expectations. A generous bowl of fruit and a box of luxury chocolates were also waiting for us - such a treat!
Luxury oozed from every direction in the spacious rooms which included two bathrooms, a master bedroom that in itself was the size of a small apartment, a raised table area with high seating, sofas, a desk (complete with i Mac computer for our use) and the extra rollaway bed we'd ordered for our daughter. Three people, three large suitcases and plenty of hand luggage baggage didn't make a dent in the spacious accommodation.
The master bathroom was the next level with a freestanding bath, a mosaic-tiled shower with seating, toilet, bidet, walk-in wardrobe and double vanity. There were piles of towels and high end toiletries a-plenty which only added to the luxury.
The bed was mallow-soft with more pillows than I could count, ensuring we both had truly deep and restful sleep.
Though it was a shame to leave such lovely surroundings, we'd booked breakfast for the three of us. Walking through the hotel was a delight as every corner revealed another beautiful artwork - making it feel more like a gallery than a route to the breakfast buffet.
The breakfast offering was amazing encompassing Middle Eastern fare, western favourites as well as fresh fruit, breads, pastries and even ice-cream if you desired! As a vegan I was spoilt for choice and everything was clearly labelled with known allergens. Staff showed you to a table (many of which has views of the Burj al Arab hotel) and took orders for coffee/ tea and pretty much anything else you wanted from the buffet!
The staff are worth more than the mention in this review as they were always on hand with anticipatory service and a genuine smile. No member of staff ever passed us without stopping to greet us. This made what was already an exceptional stay, even more memorable.
Part of the Al Naseem hotel was shut for renovations at the time of our stay, but you wouldn't have known there was any work going on. I do wonder what improvements could be made to such a beautiful hotel, but am excited to see the finished results nevertheless.
The outside areas were kept beautifully maintained and groomed. The beach was clean and it was reassuring that staff were on hand to take your room number when you set foot on the sand. This ensured only those staying on the properties were able to use the private facilities. Beach bags, SPF lotion, towels and iced water were supplied as well as life guards to ensure our dips in the warm waters of the Gulf were safe. The pools were also patrolled by life guards, which was reassuring.
A highlight of our stay was a visit to the Turtle Rehabilitation facility where a marine biologist took time to tell us about the programme and to let us feed the turtles. Magical.
There wasn't one thing I would change about our stay in Jumeirah Madinat Al Naseem Hotel, aside to stay longer. The surprise upgrade to the suite, was the icing on the cake. We can't wait to return to any of the stunning properties within the Madinat Jumeirah.
I stayed for 4 nights as part of my honeymoon. This was my second time staying at the Al Naseem and I do have to say I was disappointed this time round. Our first stay at the hotel was exceptional and is what brought us back this time round. During our previous stay in Dubai we stayed at various hotels and Al Naseem stood out as our favourite which is why we made it a must do for our honeymoon. However, various things let us down. During our last stay we were escorted from reception to our room. That was not the case this time round, which was a little disappointing and set the tone for the rest of the trip. I appreciate that the situation in the Middle East is volatile and may have impacted service levels, but the situation was relatively settled at the time of our stay. Secondly, out of all of the hotels we stayed in during our honeymoon, Al Naseem is the only one which did not offer a complimentary upgrade. This was a little disappointing given that the tier of Ocean Deluxe room we booked included a “complimentary upgrade where available”. The hotel was empty during our stay, so it would have been impossible for no upgrades to have been available. In addition, the air condition wasn’t functioning very well in the room or the hotel more generally. We woke up a number of times during the night sweating due to the poor AC. This was a huge shame as the beds are possibly the best I have ever slept in. The air condition in the lobby was also noticeably low, which left us sweating and rather uncomfortable when in the lobby area. This was a stark contrast to our stay at the Atlantis, where we were almost immediately offered a complimentary upgrade and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I was sceptical about the Atlantis Hotel prior to our stay, as the Al Naseem was by far my favourite but I do have to say the Atlantis service stood out by far this time round.
