Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I came to celebrate my 40th birthday, however the resort was closing as it is rebranding into a Hilton hotel. There were only 2 restaurants open daily for dinner, the xhale club lounge was relocated with minimal people to assist, they were doing construction so each day we either smelled paint thinner throughout the building or heard noise. We were in the upgraded room in 2600, and we heard pounding and drilling from 9:30-2 (we left and came back and it was still going on while trying to nap). I had a great time being with friends and family, but I wish we would have had better options available to us and more entertainment that did not close early. Also, they shut areas down within the resort so we never got the full experience BUT paid full price.
hotel was shutting down the days before our checkout but still accepted reservation we did bot nowhere we would be transferred to until the appointed day which left us in an ambiguous feeling how can you enjoy a vacation not knowing and feeling safe Hyatt hotels are unsafe and would never stay at another Hyatt run property, the staff was just as confused as us for they was losing their jobs with no notice either
If it was not for the wedding party the hotel would have been dead. The food was horrible and they had nothing available. This is not a resort it’s a run down hotel.
The swim up bar was closed the entire time during our 5 day stay. That was the one thing we most looked forward to. The bars also closed at 11 which seems kind of early compared to the other all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at. There isn’t a lunch or dinner buffet, just grill by the pool (very good) and specialty restaurants. There also isn’t anyone serving you drinks at the pool or beach like I’ve experienced at other resorts as well. The property was beautiful but that’s about it.
Very Disappointing Experience , Breathless Soul Cancun
Unfortunately, my stay at Breathless Soul Cancun did not meet my expectations, especially for a resort that is marketed as a luxury vacation destination.
One of the biggest issues was that the resort was under construction, and we were not notified about the construction prior to making our reservation or arriving at the property. Guests deserve to know about major renovations in advance so they can make an informed decision about whether they still want to book.
Even more concerning was the condition of a staircase that appeared to be held together with duct tape. This was extremely disappointing to see at a resort of this caliber and raised concerns about the overall condition and maintenance of the property.
Several amenities we expected were also unavailable. There was no gift shop on site, several restaurants were closed, and the activities and entertainment options were very limited. These closures and limitations significantly affected the overall resort experience and left us feeling that we did not receive the full experience we paid for.
When guests spend their money and vacation time at an all-inclusive resort, they expect the advertised facilities, dining options, activities, and amenities to be available or, at the very least, to be informed ahead of time when they will not be.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Breathless Soul Cancun should be more transparent with guests about construction, restaurant closures, unavailable amenities, and limited activities before reservations are made. Had we known the actual condition of the resort and how many amenities would be unavailable, we could have made a different decision about where to stay.
