Terrible service, mediocre food.
I was really looking forward to this trip as it was a family trip. We booked 3 rooms. The check-in process was fine, since we arrived very late in the evening. We were instructed to make dinner reservations for the restaurants for the entire week the next morning at the desk. When we went to sign up for the restaurants we wanted, the available times were after 8pm. We were only able to book 1 dinner at a reasonable time. The staff booking our meal reservations were rude and did not care that the times were unreasonable. Who wants to eat dinner at 9pm? I also booked a private family dinner on the beach and honestly save your money, the only thing the people booking the dinner were worried about was payment. We ended up eating the buffet quite a bit. The 3 restaurants we were able to book were disappointing. The best food was breakfast and the restaurant that is by the ocean. The coffee shop is great for coffee, ice cream, and pastries. The rooms were nice. The housekeeping staff was excellent and the most friendly and accomodating. The swim up bar by the pool is understaffed and overwhelmed you have to shout over other people for the server to even acknowledge you. Overall for the amout of money we spent i would NEVER stay here again. Saeve your money and go to Hyatt Ziva instead.
