FIVE STARS, GRAND OASIS PALM HOTEL

Absolutely one of the best vacations I’ve had. To start off with staff was incredibly wonderful super helpful with everything. We had not received our luggage the first night due to the airlines misplacing it...

While we were waiting for the luggage we meet some great people. To start off with, Giovanni he was the GM for the Grand oasis palm hotel and he was wonderful, great service and we felt very special. He set up private dining and reservations at multiple restaurants that were fine dining. Cocoa, Alma, Maki taco and Careyes were the restaurant. Careyes was definitely an experience with being in a private room and only carting to us. Ivan Moses was our bartender on the 10th floor where we stayed and wow. If you’re looking for a man that loves his job while entertaining you and just overall a great person. Ivan is definitely the person to see. Very humble, respectful and friendly. Alfonso and G were on the other side of the hotel where bites and alma are and they were great as well, very fast loves their job and just an overall great experience. Asunción was with amstar transportation service from the airport to the hotel, he was great, helping us with anything we needed, told us how to get to certain spots outside the resort and what buses to take from point A to B. Overall a great experience and treated wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this hotel and staff. Five out of five stars and would come back again.

Me and my mum went for a holiday to Mexico, Cancún and had the best experience ever in your hotel ❤️We want to say thank you very much, especially Diana Torres, Le buffet of Pyramid and also Ignacio Aruizu, Edel Romero… Ella es muy buena persona, que bonita y amable y servicial!!! Muchísimas gracias por ti siempre. We appreciate you very much. We had a very peaceful and pleasant holiday time and we are coming back next year again...

Hotel is amazing so many things to do and choose and we love the live animals around, so cool. Many thanks and keep up the good work. Hotel is very clean and staff always helpful and efficient. Un placer y hasta la próxima…

Two star at best Please Read

The rooms at this resort are VERY tired. On the first day these were our room issues: toilet does not really flush (filled tank with water bottles from sink to flush #2...), lights bulbs out in bathroom, refrigerator did not cool, thermostat did not work properly (either on or off, glad to AC but would wake up in the middle of the night frigid), room smelled moldy and the bathtub would not drain that subsequently flooded into the hallway outside our room. The next day I politely (firm believer that your get more with honey) talked to reception and a light bulb was changed...

Day 3 I asked for help again at the concierge nothing happened. Went to the store and bought a scented candle. Day 4 of our six night stay they offered to change our room but would not tell us where. By then we were already unpacked and heard about all of the elevator delay issues. We were afraid they would move us to the sixth floor and we would waste more vacation time moving and waiting... We asked them to please fix the tub and replace the refrigerator. Gave up on the rest of the stuff. They replaced the refrigerator. Day 5 I told them I was going to go to the hardware store and fix the drain myself and threw a temper tantrum. They finally came to fix the drain. The halls were tile and I don't know in what world they thought it was OK to let them be wet every time we showered. Oh and we were only there 6 days so I spent time every day asking for assistance.

One of the shower handles leaked and the sink faucets moved all over the place. Broken tiles and kind gross in the rest of the bathroom. Did I mention the dead cockroach under our bed the entire time...

If anyone in your family is older be aware that this place is huge and there are lots of ups and downs to watch out for.

As an adult I really don't want to drink out of a disposable plastic cup. They litter the place... We bring our own insulated tumblers and alcohol. Not sure what they served behind the bar but it looked bottom shelf at best..

When this resort is at full capacity it is like Walmart during a Black Friday sale. Huge lines for everything even the buffet. Just plain chaotic... If you want to eat at one of the nicer restaurants you need to form a line at 8:30AM and wait 45 minutes.

I will say that the staff were very nice and we found a nice man, Alejandro, at the beach juice bar who was very nice every day.

We have been to Cancun 8 times and have to say this place is not representative of Mexican Hospitality! Do you research and unless you are on the most minimal budget go somewhere else!

We had our wedding here!! Best experience!! Highly recommend to everyone!!

First off let me start by saying we had the best wedding experience here at grand oasis Cancun! DONNA AND STEPHANIE were so professional and knew exactly what they were doing! They were so kind and caring to our needs. We were very reluctant to it all since we were traveling with 30 family members and we’re just worried but the day of our weeding was perfect. Once we met up with our coordinators on the day after we arrived at the resort everything felt a lot better as to what was going to happen...

Mind you we also did face time meetings for months before the event with our amazing wedding coordinators that went above and beyond for our request and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be on the day of the weeding. It was truly a magical experience. And I could never thank them enough!! we were willing to just go with the flow and let me tell you that our expectations were beyond what we thought! I still can’t get over it! All our guest were also amazed at the details and service we all received during our stay. We stayed for one full week and the food was amazing you will find something for you as there are so many different options of food and the hospitality of every staff was superb! There’s nothing like the hospitality of Mexico and we love coming to Cancun! Our rooms were always clean. We received breakfast in bed on the morning after our weeding night and let me say the amount of food that was served was incredible and delicious. I want to thank everyone from the kitchen staff to the house keeping and of course our wedding coordinators. Our photographer as well which was also a great experience! The photographer was provided to us by the resort in our package that we added and we were wowed at the knowledge and service they provided and the photos and video that were provided to us were so beautiful and timeless. I also was blown away at the hair service and make up service that I added. My make up and hair was so professionally done. The resort out Sources their services and brings in professional artist to make sure the quality of the services is perfect which it was. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. The only thing I would recommend is that the nail salon should carry colors specifically for weddings. Like white and pearl white. I got a pedicure and they only had bright colors and nudes. And those don’t go well with a wedding. And the salon does not do acrylics either so luckily I took press on nails and they worked perfectly. But the service over all was great! We will be back here for years to come! And will never forget those who made our day and vacation so memorable. ❤️

Horrible customer service. Horrible food.

This resort Campus is beautiful. There are so many pools and places to lounge its nice. Unfortunately the food is horrible...

The drinks are horrible. The drinks are watered down not just the alcohol but the fruit flavors as well. The buffets Have horrible choices not prepared well and cold everything was cold. The servers were great they were friendly they were quick unfortunately they were serving up slop. The gardening staff is wonderful the greenery is beautiful. The customer service concierge people were horrible they were rude they were unhelpful they were snobby. It's a shame this place could be really nice this place could be a great resort but all their customer service people we ran into or lack of customer service was unacceptable. They refused to help guide my blind sister in my absence Because they only do that for wheelchair bound people. They refused to even pretend to check lost and found to help us find our lost glasses. I emailed Oasis they sent me emails to people who could help ne but of course no one wrote me back. Their motto is I recommend you come back later, check back later when I'm not here so I don't have to deal with you. I called for room service they said it cost $170 pesos but I can't have it and hung up on me and refused to tell me why. I called back and they transferred me to a number that no one would answer. The rooms were in disrepair. Water leaks from the handles and the shower. However the housekeepers we're very good.
