Ideally situated in Cancun's most desirable location, Hyatt Ziva Cancun stands on the edge of a picturesque peninsula, the only resort in the region surrounded on three sides by the sparkling Caribbean Sea. The beachfront resort is adjacent to the city's vibrant entertainment district and just 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
Ultimately I went here with my best friend during my birthday week, which was September 26 through October 2. The resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff by far are the kindest, most sweetest, most attentive staff, probably that I've ever experienced. Everything is all inclusive for the most part. The food was about an eight out of ten only because this hotel was all inclusive so some of the portion sizes were a little small however, the people make up for it, the weather makes up For it, and the resort made up for absolute 10 out of 10 experience and I would love to return. very relaxing if you're an adult and you just wanna go to adult areas within the hotel the time period that I went from the end of September to the beginning of October we were only at about 15% capacity of the resort . It was very quiet for the most part not crowded whatsoever. Very enjoyable highly recommend.
The food was very good, hygienic, and offered a great variety of options for both kids and adults. It was also great to have halal food available, which made our dining experience even more convenient and enjoyable. The beaches were beautiful and very well maintained, and having lifeguards on duty provided extra peace of mind for families. The pools were fun, clean, and perfect for children. The nearby dolphin pool was another highlight of our stay, as the kids absolutely loved the experience and had the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. Customer service was also very good. The staff were helpful, responsive, and quick to address our needs. When our flight was delayed, the team was very accommodating and helped us extend our stay, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. We truly appreciated their support and flexibility. Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation and would highly recommend Hyatt Ziva Cancun to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly resort with beautiful beaches, enjoyable pools, good food, and excellent customer service. We would definitely love to visit again!
The waitstaff are truly the stars of this resort, followed closely by the amazing views. Everyone we encountered was wonderful and attentive.
The front desk could be a bit more consistent with the information provided to guests, as we occasionally received different answers depending on who we spoke with. That said, I really appreciated the resort staying in constant communication with us leading up to our arrival.
We were visiting for a wedding, and one area where I think the resort could improve is providing better protection from the sun for wedding guests. The lawn area is beautiful, but adding some visually appealing umbrellas or other attractive shade structures would make the experience much more comfortable for guests while still maintaining the aesthetics of the property.
The service was excellent. Celesta, the front desk receptionist, was outstanding and extremely service-oriented. She made us feel very welcome and took great care of everything we needed. Thank you!
