Cancun

Situated just fifteen minutes from the city centre of Cancun and a 20-minute drive from the international airport, this family-friendly beachfront resort is the perfect place for a relaxing, sunny holiday with the whole family. Those who enjoy history and culture might venture out to the ruins of El Rey and El Meco, both within 15 kilometres of the hotel, and explore the famous archaeological site at Tulum 135 kilometres away. Alternatively, guests might sunbathe on the white sand beach or lounge by one of two sparkling outdoor pools with a drink from the swim-up bar.

The spacious rooms come with cool tile floors and views over the lagoon or the ocean, and with six onsite restaurants serving a wide range of cuisines from Italian and sushi to local tapas and seafood specialties, the resort truly offers something for everyone, making it the perfect choice for a delightful family holiday in the sun.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Amazing service, amazing resort, amazing food!

The food was great!! I loved the tacos in the morning and would recommend trying all restaurants!

The staff is amazing, very nice and willing to help. So many people complaining about long lines but if you look at the staff there’s not a lazy person, they are very engaged and want to serve you as fast as they can and are always looking out for you.

The pools are great even if I personally spent much more time at the beach which is amazing!!

The only downside about it is that the umbrellas are huge and if you travel in couple you might end up sharing it with someone else but I mean, not all resorts have umbrellas on the beach so it’s for sure a benefit!

Our room was on the laguna side but it still had a beautiful view and was able to see the sunrise lights first compared to the others on the seaside...

The room size was also great with two big beds and lots of space.

I read reviews about things getting stoles from room etc, well nothing happened to us, we also kept the “do not disturb sign” outside our door until we actually needed the room to be cleaned and then we made sure to hide our valuables and nothing happened to them.

I highly recommend this as its great for its price and what offers is good quality food! Mexican food was amazing, sushi was nice but I mean you don’t go to Mexico to eat sushi right?

Great service, best I’ve had!!!!

Great service overall but especially to Mario and Adela at “La Cantina”. They were very welcoming and made sure that I was always having a great time. I would definitely come back again and bring more friends, to enjoy an amazing experience.

I Came here on a last minute trip and besides the great food and endless activities. What stood out the most was the amazing service at the “Cantina” bar! Adela and Mario were wonderful! Thank you so much!!

Ok stay

We travelled all the way from Ireland for a long awaited family break. The reception area in the hotel was crazy busy when we checked in. After we finally made...

it to our rooms we were called back down to reception because they had charged us the wrong fee and had to recharge my credit card whilst I had to incur the extra foreign exchange fees. there is a charge for Wi-Fi, US$30 for 5 days...crazy! we received complimentary wifi for each room as we had 2 rooms booked in total but it definitely was lacking considering we had 4 kids with devices and phones etc that they couldn't use because I refused to pay the extra for wi-fi.. the food was mediocre at best. Orange juice was horrendously watered down each morning, even the kids wouldn't drink it. I asked every morning for a banana for my two year old son because he wouldn't eat the one chopped into yoghurt and I only received a banana on ONE morning out of 12! The food served in the buffet was the exact same everyday, it never changed. The restaurants served gorgeous food but seriously who is going to queue in the sun's heat for an hour at 3 in the day to make a reservation that may not even happen if they've already filled their quota?? the beach bar had a queue EVERY day for burgers and hot dogs. we queued one day for 30 minutes only to be told food was gone by the time we got there so we had to wait another 20 minutes for more food. Cocktails at the bar were lovely but again tasted very watered down. Our kids aged 13, 11, 8 and 2 were never approached to join in with kids activities during our 12 days there. we didn't even know there was a kids pool area with slides until the second last day! taxi was US$50 return to go to the town centre and Chedraui.... we ended up getting local bus for 12pesos. Overall we didn't find the staff helpful, approachable or even friendly. my daughter dropped some pasta on the ground in the restaurant and when I apologised and asked for a cloth to clean it up the staff member told me to just forget about it and leave it alone. When I didn't have any cash to leave for a tip in the Pizza restaurant another day the waiter confronted my husband and asked him 'Really?? you leave nothing, really??' We had a terrible time trying to organise the antigen tests for travelling back home, they couldn't explain to us why only US residents didn't have to pay but everyone else did even though we had been told during check in that because we were staying longer than 3 nights in the hotel that our tests would be covered. I have never written a negative review before but I really feel after paying $4000 for all-inclusive 12 nights for 2 rooms in this hotel that I absolutely expected more. The beach is fab, our room was lovely (but no water provided), and the weather was gorgeous. Other than that we unfortunately felt we had been completely ripped off staying here. However I will say the staff and hotel felt very safe in terms of Covid, all staff wore their masks at all times. We unfortunately will not be returning to Oasis Palm in the future and would recommend to others to research thoroughly before going there.

Clean and large rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food, however it’s mostly the same food every day...

They can’t make sauces, the macaroni cheese and the spaghetti Bologna is is really watery. NO WIFI unless you want to pay $30 for 5 days. Save yourself some money and either pop along to one of the other hotels to get free WiFi or get a sim card from the local ‘Oxxo’ store. You will also have to pay $20 dollars for ‘environmental tax’ before they will give you the room key.
