Excellent experience at Riu Caribe Cancun
We had a wonderful time at Riu Caribe in Cancun! Located right on the beach, three pools, super clean resort with excellent variety of restaurants and amazing staff. Everyone bent over backwards to make our experience the best possible. Antonio, one of the servers in the buffet was the highlight of our day. His upbeat attitude started our day off on a positive note. The pools were superb but could have been a bit cooler though quite comfortable. The rooms are spacious and modern with excellent cleaning staff. They must have cleaned the common areas 3 times a day. Bar and serving staff in the restaurants were top notch. Washrooms were spotless. The entertainment parties and show were over the top. We were there for a wedding, and the set up was beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this resort.

Insight to my thought of hotel and holiday
Well arrived back home 2.5 weeks ago from another amazing holiday at the Rui Caribe. The location is great easy to catch a bus they are every couple of mins from just outside hotel. The atmosphere is great the staff are so nice we have been 9 times so know mist of staff really well. Beto and Lily in reception bar really friendly and good at there job. Then there's sports bar very lively but staff amazing it was a shame we only saw Vicente for a few days as he was having a holiday himself but great to see him what a wonderful man he is. There was Fernando and Lupita who are there during day he makes a great cup of tea. Of a evening there was Jalfredo and I think she was called Olga who are also great people always ready to help. There's also Mya and Frankie who seem to float around but always lovely to see them. Missed Huge in Mexican restaurant but we met his brother. Food in Mexican restaurant was delicious. Asian restaurant was also very nice staff very helpful. Main restaurant my favourite there's Antonio there breakfast and Lunch hes great so friendly and helpful also Isreal of a evening such a lovely man they all great you find you a table bring your drinks tips are well deserved. The hotel is really clean cleaners never stop. Room was comfortable only problem I had was there no socket beside mirror for when I was doing my hair and I don't like using electrical items in bathroom we got clean towels every day. I think it's great value for money worth every penny you pay. The only thing I found there was lots of wasps which I've never noticed before. When you go to bed of a night there is no noise. Felt so relaxed when I got home. For me it's the best.
BED BUGS
I just returned from RIU caribe in Cancun. I stayed 5 days 4 nights. It was a BLAST to say the least. Service was great, people were friendly and the parties are all the rave!! UNFORTUNATELY while I was there I got a bite on my arm. It turned red and purple. I went to medicalto get it looked at. They said it would be $200 USD not including medication. So I said I'm good my arm can fall off and I left. That night when I got back to the room and took a shower I found way more of these bites. I came back to the U.S. to get them looked at because they were itchy, they bled and they turn scary colors. I now have them on my stomach, sides, back, butt, arms, legs and feet. Only my face and chest are bite free. After getting it looked at ..... I found out that they are BED BUG BITES!!!!! I'm in horrible pain and having to treat them daily. I also have to check my bed every single day(I have washed my bedding 3 times since returning. I got back Sunday and today is Friday). I have used bed bug repellent on my bed, washed all my clothes immediately, and cleaned my suitcase. I would have given this place a 5 star rating BUT bed bugs are not cool and not having it looked at there, where I could address it there was not great either. So I would HIGHLY recommend you check your beds 10x before even getting in. The bites and pain are 0/10. RIU help a girl out!! The photos are just some of the MANY bites I have.
Great hotel would recommend
Just back from RIU caribe and it was outstanding, the hotel is spotless the beach is kept very clean every day by the hardworking staff. The restraunts in the hotel are excellent as is the main buffet restaurant with plenty of fresh food something for everyone. View from room superb and all inclusive means all inclusive, and the RIU party’s are great. The staff are wonderful shout out to Israel with his trolly at the pool , Alberto and olga at the sports bar and Elda , Celia and Israel at breakfast superb staff. Overall a great experience would definitely go back.

Gorgeous hotel
We have just returned from an incredible 11-night stay at the end of July 2026 and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better holiday.
From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained and there was always something to do.
One thing that really stood out was the exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard and everywhere you looked, the hotel was constantly being cleaned and maintained. The housekeeping and cleaning teams clearly work incredibly hard.
A very special thank you has to go to Israel who served drinks around the pool with his trolley every day. He was always smiling, friendly and attentive, remembering what people liked and taking the time to chat with guests. His fantastic service really added to our holiday and made every day by the pool even more enjoyable.
We also want to give a huge shout-out to Antonio in the Coral Restaurant. He was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he always made us feel welcome. He is a real credit to the hotel.
The entertainment team also deserve massive praise. Their passion and commitment created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere from morning until night.
We were also really impressed with the restaurants. We really enjoyed our meal at the Steak Restaurant and the Margarita Restaurant was excellent too. However, our absolute favourite was the Asian restaurant. The food, atmosphere and overall experience were outstanding, and we found ourselves looking forward to every visit.
If we had one small suggestion, it would be to have more lifeguards around the pools, perhaps one dedicated lifeguard for each pool. This would provide extra reassurance for families and help make an already fantastic pool area even better.
Overall, this was one of the best holidays we've ever had. The staff are what truly make this hotel exceptional, and their kindness and professionalism shines through.
Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable. We left with amazing memories, feeling relaxed and already talking about our next visit. We will definitely be back and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday
