Great bartender and good food

We only stayed for a couple of days and did not explore that much but it was a nice hotel with lots of amenities. Buffet was good - both quantity (variety) and quality. Best part of the experience was meeting the bartender Cesar...

Exceptional service! I do not drink and he went out of his way to make me several special non-alcohol drinks. His friendly conversation made our day! Definitely recommend his service. Thank you Cesar! :)

Extremely poor management

We stayed at the SEADUST for a week in July and had several complaints that were not contended with. The management that could actually do something avoided speaking with us until we left. We were assured that they would get back with us for some sort of compensation and we never heard anything as expected...

I have called several times as well as messages and emailed to no avail. If you want a good experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in the slightest. The poor management alone speaks for itself. Here is the list of problems we experienced.

Most of the food wasn’t good Couldn’t get a reservation anywhere we wanted Shower only hot half the time Toilet leak iMessage like if it’s an iPhone messages OK or email or by calling me it’s probably gonna be difficultall over bathroom Hot tub outside leaked and wouldn’t fill up Room was hot Mini bar fridge didn’t get cold Covid test took forever Still missing one result Tv wouldn’t switch to English and froze up half the time Presentation was terrible and took 3 hours Hotel was very hot in common areas Managers never addressed any of the problems

best family vacation yet

we had a great time and were treated so well! as soon as we arrived, joel made our 3 and 4 year old girls feel so special, offering our whole family welcome drinks. the room was clean and beautiful with a great view. manolo with activities wanted us to have a great time...

we had wonderful service at the restaurant from wilberth. jesus always took great care of us at the bar. we were able to eat at a different reasairant every nite and the food was really good at every single one. the pools and beach were kept clean and we spent a little time at the waterpark as well. there was always something to see, do, or eat!

We spent a week in August and have no regrets about our resort choice. The food is good, buffet has 10 stations, dinner reservations were easy with the designated person on the first floor. Drink were weak, but flavorful and bountiful...

You will not go thirsty or hungry, even though sometimes getting your own drink at the buffet was the fastest way, but then you might discover delicious options you might not have otherwise (oatmeal water). Fresh food selection is impressive.

Pool area was lively during the day, but mornings were tranquil, especially with yoga classes. Water park was a hit with kids (also chicken sandwiches with rainbow buns were delish and fun to eat for this mom too). We also really enjoyed game room and sports bar games, kids did zip line, climbing wall and mini golf several times. Entertainment team was great (Gaby, Watzon, Eduardo, water stretching teacher and others :) - really wonderful people. Thanks again for loaning me your own device charger when I was in a pinch! Nightly shows were fun as well. Front desk, guest services, luggage care, cleaning crew are all sweet and helpful. All day every day there are staff cleaning, picking up and painting/repairing - I was impressed. The front lobby is open air and there is no A/C in the elevators, but we didn’t melt.

We did not spend much time in the room, but it was a bit warm at night. I think the lowest temp was 26, even though thermostat was set to a lower temp; however, I did not notify management, so that’s on me. We did ask for help when our TV remote stopped working and it was addressed very promptly. The app could be a great tool, but it is not very user friendly and dinner reservations did not work on it for us. The worst part of our stay was covid testing. It is confusing and poorly structured as first come/ first serve (except when they pull their club members to the front of the line event though you’ve already been standing there for an hour with 2 hungry kids). It also costs $20 per person. The nurse was very nice and helpful, but overall it took us 1.5 hours to get it done with 95% of the time spent on standing in line. We only received 1 of 3 results via email, but they provide paper version as well. We came to pick up our papers 40 minutes past when they were supposed to be ready and only 1 was ready. Person operating the computer and helper pulling club members to the front of the line are not friendly and will avoid eye contact. I started to get vocal about having to wait again !! for what was supposed to be ready 40 minutes ago and the nurse jumped in to help. She seems to be doing a lot of jumping in besides doing tests. It seems like the easy solution would be to put a paper schedule on the door and let people sign up for appointments. It might not eliminate all wait, but it would help. We came by on a Saturday and there was nobody there, but we were told Monday would be better because we were leaving Tuesday and they are closed on Sunday.

Still, it was a wonderful vacation and I did not want to leave!
