I have been a member of RR for 21 years. I want to thank the Resort staff for keeping the resort clean. I had friends stay at the Westin and they said it was not as clean...
They were surprised since Westin is a high end resort. The couches in the villas are super CLEAN here, especially being light colored. I have OCD and I cannot stay in a place that is not clean. The bedrooms also were very, very clean. The people here take time to clean the poolside chairs. I would like to thank everyone. I have issues with the people who are not owners because some of the nonmembers do not take care of the property. It's not everyone but even if you throw your trash poolside for someone else to clean. The people of the resort work hard. The members love the members only room. We have issues that it is not open Saturdays to relax before we leave. If non members are coming into the lounge RR needs to enforce the rules or we can use our member ID to log into the room but I do not like sitting in a crowded lobby to leave at the end of my vacation. I want to feel relaxed before we leave. The point is to be relaxed when it's time to go. I like the mixologist in the restaurant, that was something new which was pretty cool
so so clean and the staff are great the food was amazing. this was my third visit to this place and the more i visit the more i like it especially with covid they were very cautious, they had hand sanitizer everywhere, they greed you at the door with big smile and hand sanitize.
The only thing missing is more entertainment around the pool. The food was great however the breakfast buffet was a little slow due to the fact that the staff served rather than self serve. I didn't make sense since dinner was self serve.
Food ordered off of the menu is usually better that buffet, which can be lukewarm. Covid protocols were great from spraying luggage to spraying down chaise lounges after use. ...
Rooms were extremely clean Staff are friendly and accommodating.
My wife and I had a great experience at the Royal Sands. Everyone was so welcoming, and the following people made a big effort to make our stay enjoyable: Bellman Javier, Concierge Lety, Pool Waiter Damien, Conquistador Waiter Angel, Captains Cove waiter Jesus. These employees stood out and should be rewarded for their effort to make our stay very comfortable.
