Set amid lavish gardens on a half-mile-long stretch of white sand beach named Playa Del Secreto (The Secret Beach), this magnificent award-winning resort boasts one of the largest swimming pools in México. The location is ideal as one can easily reach Cancun and the world famous Mayan archaeological sites. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, currency exchange, lift, hairdressing salon, a theatre and a games room, a café, bar and seven a la carte restaurants, conference facilities and Internet access, room and laundry services.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a great week from 9/27 to 10/3/26. Service was excellent. Room was always cold and clean. Food is not our favorite here but we are both picky eaters! We did not go hungry though! The Imperial band was fabulous as always and love watching everybody dance. Can't say enough good things about this resort! Shout out to Sairy,Lorenzo, Nora and Carlos with the Go team for always keeping things fun! This was our 3rd visit and doubt it will be the last! See you soon!
What an awesome resort. We've been there a few times as well as other All-inclusives in the Riviera May area but the Valentin cannot be beat! The food, the landscaping, the service, the staff, the pool, the entertainment, top-shelf everything! Elizabeth, our concierge at our building was Very Helpful and great to work with. Really big, white sandy beach and we were fortunate to not have to deal with the seaweed. Watch out for Kevin the iguana - he'll take food off of your plate! :-)
Well made the trip to the Valentin again this year. Was a great five day stay to reset and enjoy a 50th birthday. This place checks all my boxes from the rooms, service and entertainment we had a fun filled weekend. Nice to see some familiar face at the bars and restaurants and great to meet new folks travelling from around the world.
I am a huge fan of the beach volleyball and this trip was probably one of the best group of people I have ever played with. Massive shout out to Russ and Scott you fellas made my trip!! Also learned to play play pickleball there too!

The Valentin Imperial was absolutely fantastic and one of the nicest resorts we've stayed at in Mexico. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Dunas section, and it was well worth the money. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located, making our stay even more enjoyable. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had an amazing experience. The entertainment team was phenomenal! A special shoutout to Pablo, Carlos, Sadie, and Nora. They made us feel like true friends rather than just guests. They took the time to get to know everyone and brought incredible energy and fun to every activity. Between the beautiful resort, outstanding service, and unforgettable entertainment staff, this was a vacation we'll remember for a long time. We were so impressed that we're already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend Valentin Imperial to anyone looking for an exceptional all-inclusive experience in Mexico!
This was our 13th visit, and the best one yet. Virginia at the golden pool gave us the BEST possible customer service there is. She always had a smile on her face and went above and beyond. A very big shout out to the people who cleaned our room each day, turn down service, and the people who restocked the mini fridge. From the moment we arrived we were spoiled. We can’t wait to be back in April for our 14th visit. Viarney was amazing as always at La Hacienda and Ginger. She is clearly one of the reasons why we continue to come back. Thank you for making this such a wonderful vacation.
