Xcaret- 30th Birthday celebration - so amazing!
Our stay at Hotel Xcaret Arte to celebrate my wife’s 30th birthday has been nothing short of fantastic. We’re only on day three, and we’re already completely blown away.
This resort has been worth every penny. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the restaurants and food options have been amazing, the drinks keep flowing, and there is always something new to experience. The attention to detail throughout the entire property is incredible.
One thing that has really impressed us is just how clean and well maintained everything is. I’m someone who really appreciates cleanliness, and it’s honestly remarkable how immaculate they keep such a massive resort. You can tell how much work and how many people it takes behind the scenes to keep everything looking this good.
But what makes a resort truly memorable is the people. The staff here have been incredible. It’s the relationships you build, the conversations, and the people who go above and beyond to help you create memories and make you feel at home that you remember long after the vacation is over.
A huge shoutout to Alexis, Jorge, Fernando and Paulina for being awesome and making our poolside birthday celebration so much fun and so memorable!
And a huge thank you to Rene, Jared, and Karina, our butlers, who have been incredibly attentive and helpful with everything from directions and reservations to making sure our suite feels like home. They’ve made navigating such a huge resort effortless and have always been there when we need them.
We’re only halfway through our stay, so I’m sure we’ll meet even more amazing staff members to add to this review before we leave!

They come get you from the airport and ensure a smooth trip to the resort, the maids come twice a day, they are very good at tidying up. Food in the buffet is good, the food at the other restaurants are great. The parks are a ton of fun and the pools are awesome. Jorge Fernandez and Emanuel by the pool took very great care of us, constantly ensuring that we had everything we needed Jorge is hilarious and very charismatic. I thought enjoyed my time at xcaret arte.
Terrible atmosphere at hotel and zero level service and food at Areal
Absolutely terrible experience and zero hospitality from security to restsurant itself and waste of money literally from A-Z , so is the hotel, zero positive energy or any place a/c. The pre charged $300 ( by the way food was worse ever) weeks ago, but firhot to put on reservation system, so we got stuck at front security for 20 min, even we showed reservation avd prepaid on cc. They told our hotel to dress up, but pkace was hot, shirts and T-shirt’s and we only ones who were over dressed! Terrible, no decor, no ac , ones they sat us fien front lady start bugging us again with reservation, we thought we squared that already, no, she demanded to show reservation number, cc charge and at that point we had headaches and lost appetite completely! It’s definitely do not cost $300 US! This hotel is all inclusive just come and go eat fast and food not worth it! Not sure how they even come up with pre fix memu cost!on menu is not stated! Appetizers were as a fast food, rib eye was super fat and under cooked, soup did not have any meat. Hist who was checking reservation was rude and pushy, we told her we put bad review and that we waste large amount on this reservation, she said go ahead and put one star review, I would not care . So we are doing so! And not just here , these is few other ones will pop up fir hotel as well. What a shame and scam! Good luck! Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1

Five star experience
Xcaret Arte was amazing. The service has stood out. Carlos Jimenez, the pool concierge really went above and beyond. I hope this message reaches his boss as you have a hard working young man here. He was attentive and thoughtful. We always try and befriend the staff as we travel and are happy to say we did so again. Karla our butler service has been amazing. Carlos at Encanta gave us an amazing dining experience as well. The food was amazing and his service exceptional. Kibi kibi waitress Wilda was another bright spot. So far we have nothing to complain about and still have 7 more days!!! Jasmin our server at pool was awesome as well!!
THE BEST
This was our second time staying at Hotel Xcaret Arte, and one of the best parts of our trip was seeing George again! We stayed here a few years ago, and to our surprise, George actually recognized us from our first stay! That honestly made us feel so welcomed and remembered.
Everyone was absolutely amazing and truly made our pool days so much more enjoyable. They were always so attentive, friendly, and quick to bring us drinks right to our pool bed.
George service, personality, and attention to detail really stood out to us. It was such a nice feeling to come back years later and be recognized by someone who remembered us.
George, thank you for making our second stay even more special! You’re amazing at what you do, and we truly appreciate all your hard work. If you’re staying at Hotel Xcaret Arte, definitely look out for George at the pool—you’re in great hands!
