A superb resort with gracious and spacious buildings, rooms, magnificent gardens & facilities . The food is exceptional - all restaurants of high quality. And the staff so warm and helpful.
As a family of 5 the space and pools were perfect. The choice of food and beverage options was terrific. Recommend the all inclusive food and beverage upgrade as well as Club Lounge.. these two options totally made our experience memorable and just so easy and carefree. The ONLY thing to mention as an improvement opportunity was that our room had a smell of damp mould. Might have been unlucky but would expect better from this brand. Outside of this 1 point we had a great experience here.
This was our 3rd stay at the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua with our two children (7 and 4). We stayed in the Grand Suite again. I had made a few requests via email before we arrived, and everything was ready and done making our check in and overall stay super smooth. We had the all-inclusive package and again the food and drinks were fantastic! We spent most of our days by the pool (shout out to Juna and Yogi) their service was amazing.
This was our first time staying during school holidays, so I did pre-book all of our lunches and dinners to ensure a table. We also ended up hiring a pool cabana two days during our stay just to have a good spot in the shade. Our kids loved this and we ended up eating lunch both days by the pool.
Thank you to all the friendly staff for making us feel like we had returned to our second home. We will be returning next year!
Great hotel with exceptional staff. We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt. We did a Luxury Escapes all inclusive deal and upgraded to a Grand room on arrival to use the Grand pool area as it was school holidays . We love the Grand pool area the staff are exceptional. The shining star of the restaurants is Nampu. We ate here many times for lunch and dinner . The food is outstanding. Our pick for breakfast is Salsa Verse with great choice off the menu and buffet . Staff are attentive and take time to know you . Also a great lunch and dinner venue . The upstairs Salsa Bar is a great pre or post dinner spot overlooking the beach . Greta staff here as well . We can’t wait to come back .
I was a bit unsure about resort life in Bali as we normally stay in the hustle and bustle but we found our stay to be amazing, especially with young kids.
The facilities and grounds are immaculate. We started each day with a walk or bike along the boardwalk followed by a beautiful buffet breakfast at one of their many locations. Breakfast was 10/10. Then spent our days at the pool, beach or wandering over the road to the Bali Collective which was awesome and great to be so close to the Grand Hyatt.
We spent one of our days back in Kuta and hired a driver to take us to some shopping markets for the day. It was very easy. You could also do the waterpark from here.
If you want to escape the busy pool areas there is the most amazing gym and adults only pool that you can escape to for some serenity. I thought this was a great feature and would love to use it in the future when the kids are older.
We hired bikes and boogie boards for a very affordable cost from the team on site.
The family pool is awesome and so scenic as you walked around, the slides were a highlight for the kids - just recommend having a parent close by to the smaller kids slide which doesn't have a like guard. The water on either side is 1.2m and can be a bit deceiving for little ones. I have recommended a life guard here as at times it did get busy with big kids pushing past little ones. The big slide has a lifeguard on duty and is run very well.
The poolside food and restaurants are more expensive than other areas of Bali but you can definitely head over the road to find some lovely more affordable options.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay and would love to come back again with a big family group.
