Wonderful place close to surf breaks

Review by Leannew21 Sydney, Australia

The hotel was perfect for us as it was close to the beaches for surfing. They offered a shuttle bus, but we hired bikes. We especially loved our lagoon access room!! It was perfect...

Staff were wonderful, buffet breakfast was enough, maybe some more western food could be good. Pools were wonderful. Will book here again next year!

4 stars hotel? More like 3 stars hotel

Review by harimyim Busan, South Korea

I checked in during Bali Silence Day period on the 24th and stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel was obviously running on low occupancy (I checked with the staff who took me to the room, he said 15 percent at best), however they still made me wait for 35 minutes for my room to be ready. Mind you, I came at 3.15 PM (check-in time is 3 PM as stated on the website)...

When I finally got my room, i went inside and at first everything seemed okay. Room size is quite decent with a balcony facing to the pool. However as I settled into the room, I started to realize there were awful lot of mosquitoes in the room especially above the bed head area, and in the bathroom. It was horrible. I called to the Reception to ask for mosquito repellent. They gave me the electric one but due to the amount of mosquitoes flying around , electric one just was not enough. So, I called again to the Reception and asked for the spray one this time. I told her about my frustration regarding the amount of mosquitoes and only thing she said was only “im sorry”, did not even try to offer us to move to another room but just simply sorry. Look, I’m not trying to reach for the star here. I know this is not a 5 stars luxury hotel. But, if you regard your hotel as a 4 stars I would expect a little bit of anticipation and sense of responsiveness in solving the guest problem. On top of that, breakfast is horrendous. I would not even call this a 4 stars hotel standard breakfast setting. Kids playing area is really sad looking. Probably the only good thing is the pool. Safe to say, I will not recommend nor will I ever be going back to this hotel.

Cheap but good hotel in Nusa Dua

Review by angeliamw02 Bali, Indonesia

Room was quite big but the floor is a bit dirty. We had a Christmas dinner and it was quite good. Breakfast was also good...

They have 2 pools but only one pool is available while the other pool wasn’t maintained maybe bcs of less guests, but the staff always keeps the pool clean. Overall we had a nice stay there

Dissapointed Stay at Swissbel Hotel Segara

Review by ellencH8628KJ

We stayed in this hotel during COVID-19 (corona virus) situation and we were so dissapointed to find out that the hotel did not do any temperature check (which is really serious) when we arrive and the cleanliness of the hotel, especially our room was questionable.

We could find stains in our bed linens and the worse thing is that the water is salty (too salty for us to shower or even brush our teeth with).

During breakfast buffet, there was alot of flies and the food was not fresh. Coffe and tea station was dissapointing (waited for a while for someone to refill the pot). Definitely not coming back to Swissbel Hotel Segara...

But hopefully the management could improve their service.
