Garden Wing

Review by Barry F Wigan, United Kingdom

Wonderful holidays spent in this hotel, we have not stayed in the tower block or the cottages so I can’t comment on them, but the Garden Wing I would highly recommend. Rooms are spacious with a large balcony, the bathroom would benefit from an update, but the room was clean and cleaned on a daily basis., and the shower was great. We had no problems with the WC, (no unfortunate odours or blockages, which can happen when staying in the area)...

All the staff were friendly and hard working, and the grounds were brilliant and well maintained. The Manager and his staff were more than helpful when my partner had a heart problem on one of our stays, they could not do enough for us. The food at breakfast is good, plenty of choice and well presented.

All flight to Bali cancelled but hotel does refuses a refund

Review by Stekmer Australia

Very disappointed with the hotels refusal to refund money when all flights from Australia have been cancelled. Another hotel, booked for the same trip and with same refund policy were decent enough to refund the money. Very reluctant to recommend this hotel to anyone or to stay there again - just plain greedy.

Tranquill Paradise, Safe heaven from Covid

Review by 439enzag

Inna Grand Balibeach is such a peaceful resort with huge garden area at the beach front in fresh ocean breeze.

We are staying at the resort since last December, became emergengy stay permitt residents since last end of february.

Inna high building hotel and Gardenwings are now closed since middle of last March due to world wide pendemic.

The mabagement offered Cottage rooms to remaining foreign guests who did'nt want go back their home countries in fear of cold weather and their home lock down situation.

We can at least talk a beach walk for exercise and do little yoga, have fresh cooked good meal everyday rather than lock down in the city or not able to buy some grocery like most of contries.

Most of beachfront resorts and hotels are closed now in Sanur except Hyatt and Inna Grand bali.

This resort has been opetating since 1966 which I heard, Yes! rooms looks run down but cleaned properly everyday and the housekeeping engineers react promptly in case of showerhead, aircondition etc. malfunction, replacing new or repair almost immediately upon call.

What we are amazed specially since last March, even if only few guests are staying(remaining rather as covid away refugee) at the cottage area in such a big compound is that the staffs cleaning huge garden area,3 quite big size pools, beach front sand area and Rooms EVERYDAY!

Roomservice 24 hours and 1 beachfront restaurant open everyday with decent price and good quality & friendly service staffs.

Nowadays many hotel.com sites shows as "sold out" here. But it is still full opetating at least cottage area.

We like to recommend Grand Inna Bali beach,Sanur if some intetested in escaping from lock down situation and spend few days in sunny, safe, healthy encorinment like here. Maybe contacting ditect resort reservation site.

We are not related to this resort but as a long staying, retired couple(from Germant), we really appreciate, expressing huge gratitude for all the staffs effort making us feel 2nd home away from covid threatend home.

Thank you!!! All of staffs! Inna Grand Balibeach Sanur.

We feel sorry and praying everyday for this crisis overcome together and peace and normality return all of us!!!

If anyone want to escape from virus fear,we recommend this healthy, peaceful, beautiful location and authentic harmony & peaceful minded working people's temple called Inna Grand Bali.

Some good, some bad

Review by ChrisL_In_Bali Lovina Beach, Indonesia

Traveling in the south of Bali, and decided to stay the night in Sanur

Arrival at the hotel was good, with good Covid precautions 👍

However, one of our rooms was not ready until 3PM, 1 hour after check in.

We had lunch in Tirta Pizza, whilst waiting for the room, and it was quite nice

We were then showed to the room. It does feel old but it is clean and with an ocean view, well about 50% due to one wing of the tower...

Balcony has no chairs, but there are chairs in the room to take outside. It was noisy tho, with a lot of noise coming from one of the restaurants.

In the evening, at 6PM, we went down to the Seafood Restaurant Barna, but even tho it saysbits open until 7PM, it was closed. A bit disappointed 😞

Overall, for the price paid, its ok for a short stay
