The property is located right on the sunset beach at Batubelig. The village is surrounded by lush tropical gardens near a temple. Ngurah Rai International Airport is 13 km away and Seminyak, the latest buzz in Bali offering dynamic lifestyle is just 2 km away. Tanah Lot temple is on a 25-kilometre drive. The hotel is located directly in front of Batubelig beach. It is furnished with luxurious, modern style and offers arts and souvenir shops, swimming pool and a spa centre. Fitted in Balinese style, the rooms are air-conditioned and come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobe, and offer wonderful views over the scenery from a private balcony or terrace. Further fittings include satellite/ cable TV, a desk, tea and coffee making facilities. The suites are more spacious and additionally feature a cosy sitting area with a sofa.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

WORST HOTEL I'VE STAYES AT!!!

I know what you are thinking when considering staying at Grand Balisani Suites in Seminyak, Bali.. this is a nice beachfront resort with low room prices next to Finns Club. I thought the same until it was time to go to sleep.

We found yellow and red stains on our mattress and couch...

We also realized the mold smell we were trying to air out by leaving the door open for 2 hours was not leaving. We stayed calm and asked to switch rooms. After checking 5 various types of rooms, from the basic junior suite to the "fully-loaded" beach front villa, and offering to pay any price to have a CLEAN bed, we were told every bed is stained and this is fine.

We checked out immediately and requested a full refund. Unfortunately, the hotel attempted to charge us for 1 night stay, and they actually charged us for a few drinks we had earlier, despite wasting our time and giving us a poor experience. The manager threatened to call security to arrest us if we do not pay the $30 bar tab.. not what you expect at 11p when you just want to relax..

We were not the only ones to have this experience. While waiting for a taxi, a few guests who were smoking near the lobby complained to us of having the same experience, but they accepted the "$700" beach front villa upgrade since they thought they couldn't find a nicer deal elsewhere. From what we read online, many others felt the same way and accepted the upgrade. I understand upgrades are nice, but there is a coronavirus right now, so hygiene is more important than a pretty view.

I could have overlooked this experience, accepted the upgrade, and let you check in to repeat the cycle. However, I chose to argue for better conditions, check out of the room when I was insulted for being "a snobby American", and post this experience to pressure the hotel to throw away dirty sheets and mattress covers to benefit future guests. Please read more reviews and consider what is best for you and future guests. I can't say it enough, AVOID GRAND BALISANI SUITES AND GET MORE VALUE ELSEWHERE!!

Rustic and with a touch of 'can do better'

Perhaps, it's the age old story of maintenance. The hotels here regardless do not maintain their premises very well. Could be cost related or could be just they are not so hard working...

Mainly hotels here are like that.

Premise - even though it is big and also very rustic in design what I find about this hotel is that the premise needs a lot of upgrading or maintenance. The room is Big however and came with a balcony overseeing the garden so that was calming.

Staff - Greeted with a front desk officer who seemed not very experienced I was told that I had to print my own booking for their safekeep. Rather odd if you ask me.

Price - I was fortunate that the prices for the hotel was very affordable and likely this is due to the current pandemic.

Guests - I don't know but I didn't see many guests except for myself and one couple. Even still I didn't see the couple much.

Overall - I think this hotel was most probably very good in the past and it needs to undergo proper maintenance as well as upgrading to certain aspects of the rooms. If I also may add the water in the shower feels slightly hard and gave off an odd taste whilst brushing my teeth.

Lovely stay

I'll start by saying that my only complaint is there is no stair free access and with a 3 year old plus pushchair it's been a bit challenging. Have overcome this by using a staff entrance which leads straight to our suite. Have enjoyed our 3 nights here. Chose this hotel as wanted something on the beach front with a spacious living space...

This ticked the box and the bathroom has got to be one of the biggest and nicest of any hotel I've stayed in - see pics! The spa was great. Food good with room service, dinner and breakfast options being reasonably priced and tasty. Would recommend this for anyone planning on staying in Seminyak.

Horrible Customer Service

Hi, I booked a room for NYEPI, that I had to cancel per the CoVID19 situation. My first communication with the hotel staff was on March 17th, and they told me that I would be getting a refund. One month later, I had yet to receive that refund, and they said that they would check to see what was happening and get back to me...

We are now almost 2 months from my request and NOBODY is helping me out, NOBODY is replying to my emails, this is ridiculous customer service. I even submitted a form via their website, and they have yet to reply. Do they think money grows on trees? We need it now more than before per the situation we are in, and they can't show professionalism and refund me our reservation, or even reply to a simple email. If this is the service that their staff is offering, I am definitely never recommending their hotel to anyone. I am very upset and offended by this type of service, and I recur to tripadvisor as my last option in getting their attention to finally refund me my money.

Great hotel right on the beach

Great experience. Hotel is well laid out and is right on the beach (Batu Balig) with a couple restos to walk to. Great pool! Cool turtle sculpture...

The breakfast is great and Susri (at the breakfast) is wonderful. She made our stay so great - such a nice smile and so helpful. Such a positive person, really makes us remember the hotel. The breakfast overlooking the ocean is just wonderful.

We will be back to the Grand Balisani Hotel. Very easy to catch a GoJek to any other place you want to go also.
