On the fringe of Ubud overlooking Tjampuhan Valley. About one-hour drive from the Denpasar International Airport.COMO Uma Ubud is located in the center of Bali. The hotel occupying a 3 hectare site is hidden on the fringe of Ubud overlooking the Tjampuhan Valley amid paddy fields carved out of hillsides backed by coconut palms and banyan trees. The river Oos runs below - one side stands a mountain. The town where there are numerous shops-galleries and local restaurants is a five-minute drive/20-minute walk.
The heart of the hotel - the lobby -25m pool and bar - is open clean and simply designed. This contrasts with the paths running between tall lushly-planted walls that lead to rooms.
All villas have walled tropical gardens. The bathrooms and principal living space is separated by an outdoor area. Carved panels open up rooms to incorporate views and the scent of forest while the volumes of light flows through interiors from the bedroom through to garden terraces - private courtyards and infinity-edge plunge pools.
The Terrace Rooms located throughout the resort are each 45sqm with garden terraces. The Garden Rooms positioned along the northern perimeter all 53sqm with a private courtyard. The Uma Pool Suites are 94sqm and have infinity-edge pools with views across the valley down to the snaking river. The Uma Suite is similar but without a pool. The COMO Suite located on the southern edge of the resort has the best pool as well as a private treatment area.
In-room facilities are decadent. The open-air bathrooms all include separate baths and shower. Facilities include flatscreen TVs with satellite channels - DVD players a personal safe - Yoga mats and minibars.
The restaurant is called Kemiri. The open air space seating 70 in addition to an intimate private dining room - stylish area beside a waterfall-fed pond - with light airy alang-alang ceilings. Kemiri serves breakfast - lunch and dinner. All Day Dining is also available

We felt at home in Como Uma Ubud. We had an excellent rainforest view from our cozy and stylish villa, placed in unique natural settings. The hotel staff was accommodating and benevolent...
Although we planned to stay only for a week, we prolonged our stay at this place for 19 days.
I have the chance to stay in this beautiful hotel once again and as usual I love my stay here. Once again I do the bike tour which I love so much and I do rafting this time! It was fun and amazing and I enjoy my time here everyday. There are tons of activities with very affordable price, the staffs were very helpful and friendly, and the food is great too...
Remember this hotel if you're in Ubud area!
Such a pleasure to stay at como uma in ubud. Everyone is super friendly here. Feels like home...
I love their uma pool vila, very spacious, clean look and chic with an amazing view of ubud hills. And when you’re here, dont forget to visit their spa. My favorite massage is their como shambala signature massage and taksu. Never fails 😍 dont forget to try their como shambala ginger tea after the massage. So good! And they have lots of options for daily activities as well.
Lemme first start by saying before I selected a resort in Ubud I research at least 10 resort weighing out pros and cons as I am a bit selective in my hotel selection.
I finally decided Como Uma Ubud and lemme tell you the hotel isn’t disappointed. I had the pleasure staying 2 nights...
The hotel was just magnificent, the grounds are beautifully manicured, the staff goes above and beyond in customer service and the food was delicious!
I was completely surprise by the staff kindness and generosity in making my birthday so special. I have stayed a lot and Como Uma Ubud is definitely on the top of my favorite list. I highly recommend this hotel!
As soon as I entered into the COMO Uma Ubud hotel, there is this special and harmonious connection with nature, so incredible that it feels like it's become part of it and integrated into the dense landscape. The air is fresh and cold, refreshing, reminding me of the British Countryside!
My room number 31 is located down lots of steps, into the jungle with magnificent views, colours and sounds.
My 3 day retreat began with a signature 60-minute Taksu Massage at the Spa called the COMO Shambhala.
My therapist was exceptional...
Using deep firm pressure to loosen all the tight knots in my back, stretching and pulling the body in all the right places. Focusing on request on my head and neck, loosening all the tension along with any negative energy and leaving me feeling somewhat euphoric and lighter in my body. Happy, calm, a new human being, she touched my inner person, my soul.
As did the yoga teacher whom I spent only an hour with yet when I left the class I felt like I'd spent months practicing. He carried inside of him that inner wisdom and inner knowing that somehow touches you and kicks you back into the flow of life again, where everyday serendipities are the norm.
Full marks for the healthy breakfasts and the floating breakfast on the finale - something that you have to experience! Thank you!
