Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed just 1 night on the 6th floor and was impressed by the lovely welcome received on arrival. The check-in was very efficient. The hotel has an elevator to all floors and is well-maintained. The bedrooms are large, with tiled flooring throughout. The bed is very comfortable, and it was quiet for a good sleep. The use of a pool is at the end of the road (a 2-minute walk). Tops supermarket is on the main road at the road entrance, and Hua Hin Market Village is within a short distance. It's a bit difficult to find a parking spot for the car.
I have stayed here on several occasions all being lovely and friendly and gave it 5 stars I am sorry to say that on this stay I noticed that the building was looking a little tired and in need a little bit of a overhall. The bedrooms are now showing there age also the balcony could do with a fresh coat of paint. The bedding was the best with a new memory foam matteres which made for a great nights sleep. The air-conditioning was only on one setting around 20-22' it didn't make any differents if you altered the temperature on the control .The bathroom was clean and stock with soap, shampoo and other accessories, the shower could do with having a hand held shower not one fixed to the wall very old style the tiles where cracked in need of replacment. My TV was absolutely hopeless with terrible signal and sometimes with no signal at all, this was for the entirety of my stay and also heard other guests saying the same. Wifi signal was good speeds of approximately 86 - 127mbs. So bring your laptop or tablet if you what to watch TV. My housekeeper was a lovely friendly lady and recognised me from previous stays well done to you. Breakfast was a little bit hit and miss, disappointing most the the hot items where luke warm to cold ( fried potatoes, scrambled and fried eggs, ham, sausages and baked beans) where warm to cold where the fuel holder under the chafing dish had run out.But a good selection of cold and other items. I would like to say a big thank you to the lady that is pregnant I think she is from Myanmar or Burma to us oldies a big thanks for taking care of me at breakfast, Hope all goes will for her. the rest of the staff where freindly and helpful and front of house staff can speak goog english. I also would like to say a very big thank you to Wat the night manager for also taking care of myself and my friends once again thanks Wat. I only left one bottle of Heineken. One major gripe I have is charging 3% on all credit / debit cards but not a thai bank card if you scan??? I understand that this may keep the price of the rooms down but most hotels, restaurants and bars take this in to account when setting the rates if you are staying long term if is a lot of money to carry with you. Sadly the way to the beach is now permanently closed with the closer of the beach bar/restaurant which was fantastic, now you have to walk through the neighbouring hotel The Verannda Lodge to reach the beach which they are not to pleased about if you don't purchase anything. I wish all at the Tipurai my thanks. I hope these things can be attened to and it will make other guests have a enjoyable stay that they talk about.
Close to beach and shopping, central night market. Room is fine, bed is comfortable. The hotel charges more for breakfast if you prepay for breakfast when making an online booking reservation. You can pay each day for breakfast in cash and get a substantially lower price. I prepaid online and I have to pay the higher price. That's why I gave the hotel an average rating.
Been to this hotel on a few occasions and always impresses me with the lovely welcome you receive on your arrival. The staff speak a few languages but mainly English. The check in was very efficient , payment can be made in cash or any major credit/debit card, the only gripe I have is that there is a surcharge of 3% on cards which is a large amount when you are staying long time ( over 4 weeks ), nearly all the accomadations in Thailand dosn't charge and just absorb the bank charge I was using an dedit card which the banks only charge a small bank chage. The hotel has a elevator to all floors and maintained well. The bedrooms are large, with a tiled flooring though out, but a little dated and could do with a freshen up. The amenities are inroom safe, ( also a safe in the reception area ) hair dryer, non smoking rooms, refrigerator, electric kettle, laundry service and bathroom accessories. All rooms have aircon and upper floor have a balcony with seating and a table. Rooms are cleaned daily bye very freindly housekeeping staff. Breakfast is served mostly europenan buffet style or asian great selction of dishes hot and cold rainging from salads, american style to a asian. The Lounge / Breakfast area is hosted by a professional waitress, who is from Maymar who has exellent english if you need any help with your travel plans. This Tipurai beach has the use of a pool that is at the end of the road 2 min walk or the beach a 5 min walk the baech has a great bar/resturant which is open from 9.30am till 10.00pm every day execpt wednesday when it closes at 6pm. The beach has a selction of attractions, jetskies, massage, bannana boat rides, kitesurfing beginer to advanced and the famous horses. After all the days activites have a ice cold beer, gin and tonic or a glass of wine at the reception/lounge area or sit on the terrace all served by Wat Hua Hin most frendily night manager who is part of the of the furnishings he has been ther so long I have been told over 10 years. I reccomadend this very well run hotel with great room rates approx $US 31 to $US 43. Thanks for a great stay Mr Hieneken.
