I stayed here recently and ended up liking it more than I expected. The resort has a soft colonial vibe that feels really warm when you first walk in.

My room had a classic Thai style to it and felt comfortable. One thing I found really cute is that each room is named after a Thai province. It is just a small detail but it made me smile. The staff were genuinely sweet too. Everyone greeted me with a Thai wai and it made the whole stay feel very warm in a simple, natural way.

The resort itself is quiet and surrounded by a lot of greenery. It is also right by the beach so I could just walk down whenever I wanted. I woke up early one morning to watch the sunrise and it was honestly such a peaceful moment.

Comfortable Room and Peaceful Atmosphere

We stayed 5 nights at this lovely old timeless hotel....on arrival you enter into an open grand lobby with antique furniture that looks out over a vast beautiful established garden with ponds and water features filled with carp fish, established trees provide shade from the hot sun adding to the ambience.
The white washed walls and the wide verandas with ornate details seamlessly blend into the harmonious scene. A pathway through the garden leads to the villas on the beach front. On entering our  grand deluxe one bedroom villa we were met with a sense of spaciousness, the ceilings were very high, lots of natural light coming through the generous windows to counter the dark paneling on the walls, dark timber floors and the traditional dark furnishings.There is a small kitchenette in one corner and the only complaint with the villa is that there is no running water in this space.
The large bedroom and spacious bathroom with bath is down a hallway, there is also an outdoor shower area off the bathroom. A porch area off the bedroom has a good size spa and seating.
The king size bed was extremely comfortable.
The villas are just by the lovely deep pool and restaurant area, just so convenient.
Food in the restaurant was excellent and well priced.
Breakfast was also good.
The beach was clean with clear water and good for swimming.
Unfortunately the unpleasant truth is  hotel is starting to show its age and needs a considerable amount of $$$$ spent on it sooner rather then later....it would be a shame  to let things deteriorate to a point of no return.
Staff were fantastic.

Good pool and breakfast and loved the location.
Highly recomended.
Staff made the stay special and loved the quiet atmosphere.

Great time at the Wora Bora

Do yourself a favour and just book it! We are only here for three nights but it has been such a relaxing few days. We feel that we have found a luxury Thai retreat after the chaos of Bangkok. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is quiet and the staff are very attentive. Ketwadee has looked after us and our room superbly. Why stay in a bland international hotel chain when you could stay here?

Just book it!

Fantastic hotel, lovely Thai style and gardens. Great staff who make a difference and lovely room. Breakfast is great and pool lovely to relax around. Liked the quieter feel, highly recommended.

Great hotel and staff

This 5 star hotel is located on the coastline of Hua Hin and was established in 2006. It is a short drive away from the Hua Hin City and the nearest station is Hua Hin Station. The Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre/gym. All 77 rooms are equipped with minibar, hairdryer, safe and air conditioning.
