- The Briza Beach Resort Khao Lak
A relaxed and modern resort located directly on long sandy Khao Lak Beach, only 50 minutes drive from Phuket International Airport and 10 minutes walk to Khao Lak Lam Lu National Park. The 181 guest rooms are located in 3 main low-rise buildings centred around the swimming pool. The spacious Deluxe rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors and have a private balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, safe, tea & coffee making facilities and WiFi access. A choice of 2 restaurants and bars include Maya Restaurant serving al la carte international and local dishes throughout the day and Maya Beach Bar overlooking the ocean. Resort facilities includes relaxation pavilions on the beach offering traditional Thai massage treatments, fitness room, outdoor lap pool, pool bar, library & Internet corner, children's play room and laundry service.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have stayed from June to August, 2026 total 60 days and will definitely be coming back every year. The staff are hardworking and friendly. Without a doubt the best we have experienced in years of travelling all around the world. The breakfast menu is extensive changing all the time. Chefs cook you fresh omelettes etc. There are Chinese, Thai and Western hot meals as well as a fresh salad bar and fruits. Staff bring you coffee and tea and constantly refresh these and take away your plates as soon as you finish. I saw the chefs cook special dishes for a gluten free lady. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels including beach towels, shampoo and bath gel and drinking water supplied. Golf umbrellas are also provided.Staff are constantly sweeping leaves off the paths and raking the grass area. The pools are immaculate. The Cafe,/bar which is near the pool serves food poolside as well as in the cafe and room service. At night an incredibly talented guitarist/singer performs in the Cafe. The water in the sea is clean and warm. Shops are only 5 mins walk away including massages, countless restaurants Chinese, Thai, Western, Russian and Indian menus, Pharmacies, Supermarkets etc. We have spoken to other guests who have stayed here for 5 to 7 times. Dress at Briza and restaurants is shorts and t shirts. There are no mosquitoes at this time of the year. Khao Lak is divided into 2 sections. The other part is over the hills where the markets are and you have to get tuk tuks everywhere because the shops go on for kilometres. This part of Khao Lak is quite, with not much traffic and very safe including at night. We are elderly and feel very safe here. There are people from all around the world and one guest said to us “This is paradise” which sums up our stay. We visited the turtle sanctuary at the Navy Depot and bathed with elephants which were great experiences. There are no nightclubs so no drunken or noisy people. Deck chairs around the pool and overlooking the ocean are great to relax, read a book etc. we are from Australia.
I'll tell you everything point by point.
Food. We only had breakfast. Since there were cafes/restaurants nearby, I wanted to try the local cuisine. Breakfasts were varied, everyone could find something to their liking, even my picky children.
Cleaning. They cleaned every day, added shampoo, gel, gave water. Towels and bed linen were changed as needed.
The beach is nice, the coastline is long, there is a place to walk and see the local nature. However, when it comes down, it gets dirty on the shore. But the hotel staff goes around and cleans their part of the beach every day. Gorgeous sunset 😍 The sea is warm, but at this time of the year it is restless (

The hotel is located in a wonderful, quiet location with direct access to a clean beach. The friendly staff was available 24/7 to help with any questions. The delicious European breakfast is suitable for both adults and children. The pristine pools are also worth mentioning, with water quality regularly monitored. Rooms are cleaned daily. The grounds are very clean and well-maintained. I would love to return to this hotel next year.
Our stay at The Briza Beach Resort Khao Lak was simply amazing. The hotel is located right on a beautiful, long sandy beach where we enjoyed peaceful days, stunning sunsets, and the crystal-clear sea. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It was serviced every day, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The swimming pools were clean, well maintained, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. There was something for everyone, from tropical fruits and traditional Thai dishes to classic international breakfast options..The greatest asset of this hotel is its staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel truly at home throughout our stay. The location is perfect as well. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and excursion options nearby, while the hotel itself offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A big thank you to the entire team at The Briza Beach Resort Khao Lak for making our holiday unforgettable. If we ever return to Khao Lak, we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront location, excellent service, delicious food, and genuine Thai hospitality. It truly deserves five stars!
