Bo Phut Resort & Spa is located on Samui Island's tranquil northern tip in the charming fishing village of Bophut. The lively resort of Chaweng is located just a 20 minute drive away where guests can explore the vibrant bars and restaurants that the city has to offer.The breath-taking architecture with its earthy tones and natural materials complements the natural surroundings beautifully. The tropical Thai-style villas are dotted around the tropical gardens, while the deluxe rooms are house in the elegant main building. The exemplary facilities allow guests to enjoy their holiday to the fullest with relaxing leisure options, superb dining choices and recreational activities to keep everyone smiling.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This is my second time coming to bophut resort and spa and glad i am that i returned to this wonderful resort. Its such a lovely and relaxed resort i will definitely be back a third time when i return. When i arrived they made a huge effort to welcome me back as you can see in the photos.
The hotel is set in amongst lovely gardens that lead down to a beachfront pool and restaurant. The grounds are absolutely stunning.
I stayed in a villa overlooking the pool area and the room was magnificent. Very spacious and extremely clean. In fact its cleaned twice daily by the loveliest of house keeping staff.
The food here is fantastic and there are 2 restaurants to choose from serving loval Thai food and international food. My favourite was the thai restaurant which is set in a pagoda/ Traditional thai house overlooking a beautiful pond. In the evening it looks so beautiful and is very romantic. Also for those tea lovers you don’t need to bring your tea bags with you as the tea of choice is Twinings!
I did go to the spa for a massage which i have to say was possibly one of the best i have had in Thailand. One thing i do want to say to the hotel is that the lady who manages the spa (Duang) has a lovely drink with ginger, lime and tamarind in and this should be on the cocktail menu!!!! It was so refreshing and delicious!
The staff here are phenomenal. They really are!!! They are so attentive from the pool guy to housekeeping and reception. I want to say a huge thank you to Nok who couldn’t do enough to make my stay amazing. My last mention is Nitcha who was so unbelievably welcoming and wonderful throughout my stay. She really put the spotlight on me here and i truly appreciate everything she did for me.
I will be returning here a third time and a fourth and so on there is no question about that! It was absolutely wonderful being here.

We had such a lovely stay at Bo Phut Resort & Spa. The location is great, right on the beach and an easy walk into Fisherman’s Village, which was perfect for us.
The resort itself is really pretty and well looked after. Our room was lovely, comfortable and always spotless, and it always smelled so nice. We also loved having the outdoor bath, it was such a nice extra, although it did take a while to fill up!
The sea was beautiful and the pool was lovely too, so there were plenty of places to relax.
The food was really good. We had dinner at the hotel which was really yummy, and breakfast was excellent with loads of choice and lots of variety.
All the staff were so friendly and lovely throughout our stay. We also really liked the evening turn-down service, where they came in and got the room ready for the evening. It was such a nice touch.
We also appreciated the little things, like having mosquito repellent available in the room and spray for guests to use.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Great location, lovely room, beautiful surroundings, good food and genuinely friendly staff. We had a great time here.
This is our 5th stay at Bo Phut Resort & Spa and yet again it was amazing, the staff are so lovely go above and beyond with making our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend a stay with them you will not want to leave and like us keep going back. We call Bo Phut our second home.
Great boutique style hotel in a perfect location with fantastic amenities! We stayed here for 8 nights; 5 nights in the garden view room and then 3 nights in the garden view villa. There isn’t much difference between the 2 - however I think that differs if you get a villa with a pool. The main pool is super clean and the staff are excellent - big shout out to Mai and the team! The hotel is right on the beach and it has a cordoned section for swimming which was great. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff in the breakfast room were the best! For lunches we pretty much went to Mr Kai’s Kitchen which is just outside the front of the hotel - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Overall a great stay, short walk to Fisherman’s Village and great amenities. We didn’t use the on site spa however there are lots just outside the resort which we used and Nakee we found to be the best in both Bo Phut & Lamai (which we did first).
All the staff were so friendly and accommodating! We had the most relaxing time staying in the resort and also only a short 10 minute walk to fishermen’s village for more lively experience. The breakfast team were especially friendly and you can tell all the staff take a lot of pride in what they do. We had the most wonderful time :)
