Wonderful stay in Ao Nang at La Playa
We had a 5 night get away to Ao Nang with friends and stayed at Krabi La Playa. We had 3 rooms and they ensured they were all together. The resort is fabulous. It is in a great location, close to everything without being in the midst of all the crowds. The rooms are very clean and spacious and have many extras like beach bags, beach mats, towels, slippers, slides and robes. There is a mini fridge in the room which is handy and they replenish bottled water daily. There is a daily happy hour at the pool which has 2 for 1 specials on selected cocktails. The staff were all so kind and accomodating, two exceptional staff members were Nanny in the restaurant and Ann at reception. Would certainly return and would highly recommend.

Nice and welcoming

3rd Year on the bounce!
Our third time visiting Ao-Nang and staying at La Playa. The location is great you’re 15 minutes from the night market and 15 minutes from far end of Ao-Nang Beach so there’s really no need to use the local tuk-tuks unless you’re travelling further. Out the back of the hotel you can arrange a longtail to most locations from the ticket office and the bars and restaurants surrounding are great especially if you go with one that leads with Thai Food as its speciality! The hotel itself although large is compact at the same time and it can be challenging to get a sun bed at times. Breakfast is always good and plenty to choose from. Rooms are always clean and fresh water is replaced daily.
