The hotel is situated just 700 meters from Kata Beach, widely regarded as one of Phuket's most stunning locations. The resort is just 45 km away from Phuket International Airport, while the town of Phuket is 25 km away. The resort's natural setting and high level of comfort makes it one of Phuket's finest destinations. The elegantly appointed rooms come with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and either a balcony or a terrace. The accommodation complex also offers a variety of pools and provides a modern and well-equipped gym facility where guests can enjoy a good workout. The hotel's SPA will pamper visitors with a selected range of treatments and professional massages.
We stayed at this awesome resort june 2019 and it was absolutly amazing. The rooms(we had a pool access room) we awesome, staff were awesome, breafast was to die for and the location was so central to everything. We were due to stay there again this june 2020 but due to this covid 19 virus we have to wait untill june 2021. Highly reconmended Resort.
Some people can afford to pay for perfection, good, then go elsewhere. This is what you look for if you have a family to pay for and want a very nice, but not magnificent place to stay at a good price. Wifi speed is MUCH better than last time a few years back but signal can still be a bit dodgy, if you have a balcony room you should be fine. Fabulous pool, gym could be better, restaurant food is good but expensive by Kata standards. A safe and secure place. Nice vibe with Thai people who are really struggling with all the different languages they have to deal with these days. English is tough enough but it now includes Russian and Chinese, so please be kind ...and patient.
The second hotel on our honeymoon trip was to the Alpina Phuket near Kata Beach. It was in a good location (10 min from Kata Beach), and easy to move around using tuk tuks and taxis.
However, the actual room was outdated, and looked dark due to the dark furniture, drapes, and dustiness. Also, the wifi was spotty throughout the room. However, the A/C was strong.
I would probably not stay again, since we were looking for a place to relax and rest from the day's activities. One great aspect: the breakfast food was really good! And the staff, both at the front desk, as well as at breakfast, were really nice, helpful, and always smiling.
Not happy with my first visit to Thailand. The bathrooms have mould, I’ve had a cockroach crawl on me at night, air con leaks on our heads at night and is dirty, loose walkway tiles that need attention as we’ve tripped, couping around the pool needs attention and there is a power line in the pool from a broken light ( not active obviously, towels fraying on edges, many stains on bedding under the sheets and beds are rock hard. Not 4 star in my opinion. Staff were lovely at two of our birthdays but that’s about the only positive feedback I’ve got after over a week staying and still have 5 days to go.
We stayed here for 5 nights to relax and that’s just what we did. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing what disappointed us were the prices of drinks and food. If the hotel offered cheaper drinks and food we would have not moved out of the hotel. For instance the restaurant over the road offers food and drink 2x cheaper than the hotel. The room was big and beautiful and was cleaned everyday. The hotel organised our transport to and from the airport which was good because we didn’t have to get hassled or hassle the prices. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only 2 pictures I took which I loved.
