We’ve just finished our stay in Four Seasons Koh Samui. Our stay was simply wonderful. The villa, the views, everything was perfect!
The location of the resort is phenomenal - lying on the picturesque hill, over a beautiful beach - like from a post card. The distances between villas and different parts of the hotel aren’t a problem thanks to the buggy service. At this point We also have to mention the reception desk and WhatsApp concierges handling every problem really smoothly - every time we wanted a buggy or encountered a problem - it was quickly answered by the staff.
When it comes to the food - the quality and variety of it were breathtaking, one cannot say any bad word for the breakfast buffet either. We’ve especially enjoyed the Thai Buffet combined with Thai Performances - such an experience and insight into local culture! Also, the Lebanese pop up restaurant is a must-visit.
The Staff was on completely another level. Everyone was so welcoming and making your day better. On the other hand, the housekeeping did their job as well - we’ve been to many hotels, but we’ve never seen such a high of cleanliness.
In this point, we would like to especially thank Jah and James - their attitude made our stay truly special.
If you want to visit Koh Samui, I definitely recommend visiting Four Seasons!
Third Stay and Still Never Bored
Three stays at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui so far, and somehow, it never gets boring.
There is something about this resort that keeps bringing me back. The beautiful setting, privacy, spacious villas and genuine warmth of the team make it very easy to slow down and simply enjoy being there.
What I appreciate most is the consistency. Even after returning for the third time, the experience still feels special rather than repetitive. It is the kind of resort where you do not feel the need to leave and explore elsewhere. Staying in, enjoying the villa, the beach, good food and the surroundings is already a holiday in itself.
Three visits down, and I would still happily come back for a fourth.
A truly one of a kind ultra-luxury retreat with world class service, beautiful views, and relaxing vibes. We want to say special thanks to all the staff, the villas manager Shivan, and the resort manager Michael for showing us great service and kindness.
A dream hotel with impeccable staff, design, spa, and restaurants.
A spectacular hotel, and definitely so much more than the White Lotus hotel. In fact, if you are coming only because of the series, please don’t, this place deserves to be discovered for what it truly is.
The experience has been extraordinary. The service is, without a doubt, the best we have ever experienced: attentive, warm and absolutely impeccable, without ever feeling excessive.
Our villa was stunning, with breathtaking views and beautiful facilities. The spa is an experience in itself, both the spectacular beachfront spa and the spa hidden in the jungle. The hotel also offers wonderful complimentary activities such as sound healing, yoga and Pilates, which make the stay feel even more special.
One of our favourite moments was the beautiful Fisherman’s Festival on the beach — such a charming and beautifully curated experience.
And a special mention for the cocktails: genuinely excellent.
That said, for a hotel at this level, there are a few points that we feel are worth mentioning.
We had the impression that day passes may be available to non-hotel guests. While everyone we encountered behaved perfectly well, we personally do not feel entirely comfortable with the idea of outside guests having access to the resort. For us, part of the appeal of staying at a hotel of this calibre is precisely the sense of privacy, exclusivity and security. When you are paying around €1,200 per night to stay at the resort, it feels somewhat disappointing to see access potentially being offered to guests who are not staying there and therefore contributing only a small fraction of that amount. It simply doesn’t feel quite right for a property positioning itself at this level of exclusivity.
Another small but noticeable issue was our arrival. We came directly from another hotel and arrived by car, and although the hotel knew we were coming, the team did not seem prepared for our arrival. One gentleman, in particular, rather dismissively asked whether we had a day-pass reservation, almost as though we were visitors arriving for the day rather than hotel guests. As soon as he realised the mistake, he corrected himself immediately and his attitude changed, but unfortunately, that first impression left a certain feeling.
There were also a couple of very minor practical issues. On one occasion, the buggy did not arrive on time, which made me five minutes late for my yoga class. Perhaps a few more buggies would be helpful during busy periods. The bed, although huge, was not the most comfortable we have experienced at this level, and it is also exceptionally high.
These are, however, relatively small points compared with an otherwise outstanding experience.
Stunning facilities, an incredible setting and truly exceptional service. We will definitely be back, this time with our family, because this is a place we cannot wait to share with them.
