What an absolutely incredible stay at Centara Villas Samui! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the team made us feel so welcome. The resort is stunning, peaceful, and the perfect tropical escape, but it was the amazing staff who made this holiday truly unforgettable.
A huge thank you to Mam, Anu, Seeva, and Puky. You all went above and beyond with your warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your smiles and outstanding hospitality made every day even more special. You are a real credit to the resort!
It's rare to find service that feels so personal and sincere, and the team at Centara Villas Samui exceeded every expectation. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. We couldn't recommend this resort more highly—thank you for an unforgettable experience!
Ae, my therapist was excellence. Magical hands. The pressure I requested for was perfectly met. The whole session was a bliss.
Mam and Anu are great. My room was possibly the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in.
13th - 20th July 2026 - My family of 4 adults stayed in 2 x Deluxe Ocean View rooms on a bed and breakfast basis (1 x double and 1 x twin room). The rooms were lovely. The Ocean view was okay but not great for one of the rooms. The Hotel does an App for services and the messaging feature on this came in really useful. The atmosphere of the hotel felt quiet and peaceful. There were 2 small pools and one larger pool. Noticed some people reserved the small amount of sun beds at the small pools with towels and were not there for hours on end which was a little frustrating but overall there was plenty of space on the beach sun beds. Breakfast was good. Evening food was a little disappointing especially for the event nights it did not feel like value for money. There are a lot of steps from the rooms to the Reception area. If you struggle with mobility then I would say this is not the hotel for you. There is not much within walking distance of this hotel - it is quite remote. Some excursions will not do hotel pick-up due to this. We ventured to Restaurants & sight seeing in the north of the island a few times and found ourselves getting quite a few Grabs, whilst they are reasonable it meant a 30/45 minute drive each way! If you want to be part of night life and be able to walk out of your hotel and do things then I would suggest staying further north. If you want a peaceful retreat away from it all then this is a good option.
Firstly, the hotel itself as a concept is beautiful, attractive & in keeping with Koh Samui.
There a number of considerations for anyone considering this.
You need to be mobile and relatively active. Our villa was 202, at the top of the hill by reception. To get to the beach, lowest pool & Reef restaurant where breakfast is served was a total of 150 steps across 9 platforms. In the heat this was no mean feat.
The Villa itself was ok. Small for 2 adults & an 18yr old in the same room. Bathroom was spacious. Private and secluded. You felt like you weren’t overlooked. The villas themselves were well spaced.
Breakfast was excellent. A full range of hot and cold, omelettes made to order, fruit aplenty, drinks had a good range also.
The pools, all 3 of them were immaculate and well presented. The lowest seemed the most popular as it overlooked the beach. The beach was stunning, low tide meant you could walk in the sea up to the rock ridge which formed an inner inlet for anyone to safely be in.
Kayaking was free and massages on the beach were only 400baht for an hour.
The resort is fairly remote so if you are looking for a lively area, this is not for you. We used the grab app and got taxis to Lamai & Fisherman’s village. The hotel does a shuttle bus but at 200baht each per way, a grab was cheaper. On average a taxi to Lamai was around £7 and to Fisherman’s village was around £11.
The hotel did to a fee shuttle down the hill to 7/11 & Tops at 1.30 every day. This allows you to get supplies, snacks or toasties.
A laundrette was at the bottom of the hill. Turn right out of the complex, down the hill, 8min walk. We did a huge load of washing and it was 180baht. A bargain.
Hotel app is good to use. Very helpful. Best attractions, excursions by far were Pig Island and Eleohant Sanctuary. Used Samui Elephant Sanctuary Chaweng Noi which was stunning. 2900baht for a whole 3 hrs. Incredible value. We then used Koh Tours for Pig Island and this was 1450baht for a sunset tour.
