Amazing staff Beautiful hotel
Great service,very nice staff variety of breakfast good taste,The service was amazing. Special thanks to MAC,YAYA. we also enjoyed the food very much. A parrot came to join the table.The hotel was very welcoming right from the start.Our room was comfortable and nice,just what we needed to relax and enjoy our time. Thank you all.
Beautiful hotel - excellent service
The moment we got to Anantara Layan we were welcomed and greeted with staff professionally. We had a pool Villa - the villa was well proportioned and well equipped with everything we need. All details well taken care of. The ladies at the concierge desk were really lovely and informative. Always available and ready to answer any questions or queries we have. Special thanks to Rina - for making us feel welcome, always available for a chat and helping with all our excursion arrangements. All the staff that we met across the hotel were really friendly, courteous and professional. I booked into the spa which was lovely. All the pools are well proportioned and having the beach was a great positive. The hotel is away from the general busy areas and it is a bit out of the way. But we wanted that as we wanted to be somewhere quiet and away from Patong.
overpriced and mosquito-infested
very nice hotel, nice pool villa, attentive staff, good Thai restaurant, excellent steak restaurant.
we traveled 2 weeks in Thailand. nowhere else did we find more mosquitoes, during nighttime and daytime. prices were out of proportion for food, drinks and spa, similar to Switzerland. Massage ranges around 6000 baht
Lived upto the expectations
We wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. While we did an extensive search for a short 3 night stay, Anantara ticked all the boxes. Stayed at their superior room with private pool and sea view. As far as the room is concerned, it requires you to take around 70 steps, so not for older couple. However, the room is large, great bathroom with bathtub with a view of the private pool. The property as such is huge and encompasses private residences, concierge was kind enough to give us a property tour. The staff is very responsive, just a call away. The resort is quite away from the main town, so you got to plan your town trips well in advance. Special shout out to the concierge team, there packages for island tours are great. Kudos to the staff.
Beautiful team and lovely property
Services are brilliant and thanks to Moustafa (GM) and Khun Aom who made our stay so accommodating. We got some issue about the noise disturbance from the wedding group but next day the issue was taken care. Next morning we had a breakfast at Dee Plee and service staff made our day bright again because of their smile and very welcoming. I was also recognized as Titanium GHA member which is amazing. In overall I would love to come back again in the near future.
