We recently spent 3 nights at the Radisson Hotel Danang and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The daily breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast staff were incredibly exceptional and attentive. We also treated ourselves to a spa treatment, where the massage therapist provided a deeply relaxing experience that completely melted our stress away. What truly elevated our trip was the outstanding hospitality, especially from our bellhop, Nguyen. He greeted us warmly on our very first day and was the exact person to see us off upon departure, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Danang!
The hotel is nice enough, but VERY NOISY, with techno music playing at clubs across the street.
I looked at rooms on the other side of the hotel, but that street-level Karaoke, so it's the same noise level, just a different type of noise.
I'm 4 hours into my three-night stay and can't wait to get out of here. The noise is really bad.
It's 11 pm, and it was supposed to stop 30 minutes ago, but the booming bass pervades the room.
overall experience was good. However breakfast timing should be extended from 10 am to 10:30 am. ok ok
An absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Front office staff looked after us extremely well until our room was ready. It was lovely to be escorted to the pool area and be greeted personally by Christian , the manager. Our room was soon ready. What a view ! The photos do not lie. A welcome little touch of treats and sparkling clean. Our luggage was promptly brought to our room by Mr Kim. His lovely smile and attitude made us feel truly welcome. His assistance and willingness to answer questions throughout the week when working downstairs never wavered.
The amenities within the hotel were of a high standard. We made use of the spa and the sauna and steam room- all scrupulously clean.
Breakfast each morning was delicious. Personal attention provided by Mr Duong and Mr Khan ensured we had everything we needed especially on the mornings my husband wasn’t feeling too well. Ms Luna was exceptional , greeting us personally for breakfast each day and always enquiring as to whether she could do anything to make our stay even better. Location of the hotel was excellent- a truly enjoyable stay.
I'm going to start this review by saying that part of my experience is on me for not researching which part of Da Nang was going to be quieter.
First of all the good. The staff. I checked in after a long day with bad jetlag and the check I'm was flawless. The welcome amenities I got as a VIP member were the best I have had in a Radisson property. Every single team member from reception to lounge to pool were an absolute joy.
The Executive Lounge is also wonderful with a very nice spread of canapes. And, the breakfast was fantastic. Typical Radisson breakfast but that is always solid. I also had a very delicious egg coffee in the lobby cafe.
The rooftop pool and bar are also amazing the pool needs more recliners than it has but it's a lovely space. The hotel itself is very nicely done out and on brand - you know it's a Radisson you're staying in and I appreciate the brand consistency.
Unfortunately the noise killed it for me. Beach clubs opposite going on til late plus an active demolition site on the corner opposite. The rooms are not sound proofed adequately and it was like the beach club and traffic were in my room. Absolutely not a problem if you don't mind this btw and the clubs themselves looked amazing. The hotel can't help where it is but they could do more to soundproof.
Secondly it's pretty obvious that the Aircon - certainly on the 11th floor - can't cope with the humidity. The corridor itself smelt slightly mouldy and my room was always slightly clammy. The Aircon settings seemed to cover a range from cold and damp to less cold and still damp. My room showed sighs of previous water marks on the walls and the shower cubicle was constantly dripping with condensation, so this isn't a new thing.
After three nights of this combination I cut my losses, decided to leave and move down to a quieter part of the area. I lost three prepay nights but c'est la vie.
So really mixed feelings - the staff and hotel itself were amazing and I wouldn't say don't stay there - just make sure it's for you before you book.
