Great service from Mr. Binh by the pool. We had a great day!
Having an amazing 5 night stay at the Sheraton grand resort and spa Danang. The resort its self is amazing with first class amenities. What always makes the difference for us are the staff and the Sheraton does not disappoint in this area. Always friendly and accommodating with any request you have. A special thank you to Binh at the pool area who always greeted us with friendly conversation and helped set us up comfortably! His customer service and warmth are amazing and he is an amazing asset to the resort! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Worst experience ever Room stinks We were there for 2 nights and took deposit of 80,00,000 vietnamese dong We were ok with it but on 2nd night they deducted 1,28,70,902 vietnamese dong They don’t have any reason for it and they told they will be transferring it after 30 days For what, why should i give them money and for what? They released my deposit after 2 weeks Worst experience try accor or hyatt Worst experience never gonna recommend this property or any other marriot property
We had an amazing experience with the Sheraton Da Nang team! Our company held a large kick-off event at the resort, and the hospitality and service were truly outstanding. The team was incredibly responsive, professional, and attentive throughout the entire event. No matter how detailed or last-minute my requests were, they always handled everything promptly and no excuses.
A special thank you to Mr. Johnny, Ms. Hu Yen Pham, Mr. Vincent Huang Ho, Mr. Quang Nau, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang My, and the Concierge Team for their exceptional support.
From the event preparation to execution, everything was well organized. The audiovisual setup, photobooth, welcome dinner, and event signage were all arranged perfectly, making the experience seamless for our attendees. The clear directions at the venue ensured that no one got lost, and every detail was handled with great care.
Thank you to the Sheraton Da Nang team for your warm hospitality and for taking such good care of our Brady group. You played a big part in making our event a great success. We truly appreciate your dedication 😊😊
While the location between Hoi An and Da Nang is undeniably convenient and the beachfront setting and pools are lovely, beautiful scenery cannot cover up what is ultimately an aging, poorly managed resort charging premium prices for sub-par service and mediocre food.
Poor Housekeeping Standards Daily room care was a bare-minimum effort. While beds were made and towels swapped, actual cleaning was neglected. Trash and wrappers were left sitting on the desk, the toilet was ignored, and a dead mosquito sat in the exact same spot in the bathroom for two full days. For a property masquerading as a luxury resort, these standards are unacceptable.
Unbearable Noise (And Management Knows It) Avoid ground-floor rooms entirely. Service trolleys and slamming doors started rattling down the corridors at 7:00 AM sharp and again at 9:30 PM. Worse, upper-floor furniture lacks basic rubber feet, creating a relentless, grinding scrape across the marble floors above that makes sleeping or relaxing, until your neighbours have settled for the night, impossible. Ground-floor rooms desperately need acoustic suppression, yet basic physical fixes are blatantly ignored. In fact, the Duty Manager indicated that noise complaints are common, yet Marriott has done absolutely nothing to rectify the issue.
Serious Kid’s Club Safety Flaw While the Kid’s Club advertises a drop-off service for ages 5+, the facility has no attached bathroom. Staff allow young children to wander through public hotel spaces entirely unaccompanied to use the restroom, a massive oversight and a safety risk we were completely unwilling to take with our 5-year-old.
Insulting Management Response What turned a frustrating stay into an infuriating one was management’s reaction when we raised these issues with two days left. The "resolution" offered was a paltry 30-minute spa voucher and an offer of "waiving" the extra bed fee for our child, an add-on charge that reputable luxury resorts rarely levy in the first place. Refusing a genuine room rate credit after failing on basic cleanliness and quiet enjoyment demonstrates a total lack of care for guest satisfaction. Frontline duty managers seem to want to help however are blatantly handcuffed by rigid corporate policies and greed, handed down by cost-cutting executives.
Verdict It seems the resort or Marriott Bonvoy prioritises corporate profit margins ahead of customer satisfaction. Although a handful of staff showed care and genuinely valued their customers, we will avoid staying at other Marriott Bonvoy hotels where possible, and we strongly advise other families to look elsewhere for their stay in Da Nang.
