Myself and my daughter stayed for 5 nights and had an extra ordinary experience at this hotel. We stayed in room 619 which was spacious beautifully decorated with lovely comfortable beds. The breakfast was lovely and appetising with a wide variety to choose from. All the waiting staff were attentive and very friendly. We made use of the 2 swimming pools and the spa. I can honestly say the staff were amazing. I had an accident outside of the hotel and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help me. The duty manager accompanied me to the hospital and made sure I was properly taken care off. The attention I received from all members of staff was truly humbling and I am truly grateful. Myself and my daughter would highly recommended this hotel.
Our room had a balcony that looked over the riverfront. It was beautiful. The staff was courteous and very welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding with eggs Benedict as an option and it was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. The options for breakfast were of a 5 star restaurant. Delicious! And the hotel is luxurious and beautiful. Overall highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars on all categories!!
This hotel exceeded our expections during our Vietnam trip of 2 wks . It has its own style. Entrance is from an inner street though the hotel is on main road oppo the river. One gate is on the main road also with an ATM outside. As you enter the the town this is perhaps the first big building on the main road. No issue on any count. Room quite good, big with a small balcony facing the river. During our two nights stay it rained continuously during daytime but cleared in the evening. That in a way helped us in having a look at the property and click some pics of the property. And main touristy activity like boating, night market all are worth seeing at night only. Staff are good , helpful. The girl at the reception guided us. She speaks good english. She is local , so knows the area. We did our shopping as per her guidance and it was really good. BF is good. All girls are helpful. We like to have something freshly prepared. Being vegetarian that is a problem sometimes. But they prepared noodle soup for us.. That was enough. So many thanks.
Pros 1.The room we booked looked exactly as expected. 2.Bell man Anh was very nice and welcoming
Cons
Overall Hotel Royal made us feel like all they cared about was taking our service but outside of that the experience felt cold, staff need to be better at the basics of greeting and making people feel guests not just room fillers.
Fantastic hotel, with lovely helpful staff. Its in a great location, only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Hoi An, and a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach. Its a beautiful hotel, inside and out, with very nice rooms & large comfy beds. Great breakfast. The particular highlight was the roof top bar with the swimming pool. Perfect place to go for some sunset drinks and after dinner drinks. I would definitely stay there again when we go back to visit Hoi An.
