Thank you , its been just superb from the first to the last day . The independent guide really does need to be contacted and lavished with praise for his unfailing professionalism . Aime , the mercury guide was an absolute sweetheart , and deserves an immediate pay rise . I felt a little uncomfortable as they didnt stay in the same hotels as ourselves but in places far less superior , sometimes it was late at night and theyd to travel distances and return very early next day . I hope the companies do see the logic and importance of these two men staying with the party and having decent beds to rest after long days catering for demanding travellers .

The flight from Varanasi to Delhi, then the onward coach trip to Agra was much too late in the day. We arrived at Delhi after dark so saw none of the rolling hillside described in the itinerary and finally reached the hotel in Agra at about midnight.
We feel this flight should have been a morning flight, as a whole day was wasted seeing nothing.

Due to my loss of a passport that was not asked to be seen I would take some time before booking another tour. It was well organised but felt that due to my loss then I was not able to join the group and due to lack of organisation they sent me back to DELHI on an early train. Once arriving then they organised an appointment with the British High Commission unfortunately the earliest appointment was the next day at 11.00
It is a shame this was not done the night before as I wouldn't have then lost an extra day.

Holiday Inn Changigarh was an unexpected stay because of the airport closure. It was probably at its best in the 1960's. In fairness,a lot of staff working hard with very little to work with. I thought all the hotels were very good. I only heard one negative comment about the Park in Delhi. The lady in question did not take up the issue of a dirty room with the management at the time ! Enough said.
