When to go to Gozo

Known to locals as the 'island of Calypso', Gozo's idyllic climate stems from its central position within the Mediterranean Sea’s inviting waters. Between the months of April and November, visitors can enjoy average temperatures of 25°C however, between April and May some days are a little chillier. For those heading to Gozo for sunshine, July and August offer the longest stretches of dry conditions, with temperatures reaching highs of 40°C. December is Gozo’s wettest month and January is the coldest, however thanks to the island’s elevated position, humidity is generally high.
