Located around 24 miles south of Colombo, it is secluded in a dense grove of palm trees overlooking a long sandy beach. The facilities include a large lagoon style swimming pool surrounded by lawns that run down to the beachfront.

A Wonderful Second Visit to Turyaa Kalutara
This was our second visit to Turyaa Kalutara, and once again, we had a wonderful and relaxing experience.
A special thank you to Chef Thilan for the great food and hospitality. We would also like to thank the Front Office team, especially Umasa, Movindu, and Wasantha, for their friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. A big thank you as well to the entire F&B team for their excellent service and attention.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, making the stay very relaxing. We also enjoyed the buffet spread, which had a good variety of dishes and plenty of options to choose from.
Overall, we had another enjoyable stay at Turyaa Kalutara and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with good food, comfortable rooms, and friendly service.
Thank you to the entire team for making our second visit so memorable! We look forward to visiting again.

Spa experience
I had an amazing massage at the hotel spa with Olalha, and it was such a wonderful experience! ✨
Olalha was very professional, gentle, and attentive. The massage was incredibly relaxing and allowed me to completely unwind. You can really feel that she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being. 💆♀️🌸
The spa itself is also very peaceful and welcoming. It was the perfect moment of relaxation during my stay.
I highly recommend Olalha and the spa! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. ❤️
Sound pollution at turya hotel Kalutara, srilanka
Our room 202, check in 26 august, Initially good welcome from reception. Stunning view of beach from the room. Rooms were clean and neat, pool was beautiful, but a group from a private bank playing with balls in the pool disturbing other guests, so we couldn't enjoy the pool. Food was good , but taste could still be improved. We stayed at royal palms kalutara 12 times, and food was excellent and the salads were best .after dinner we wanted to sleep early but loud music was disturbing all guests, we waited till 10 pm , but still no end, then waited till 10.30 pm , still no end to music and sound were louder then. We informed the telephone operator and reception, unfortunately NO ACTION TAKEN, NOT CARED ABOUT HOTEL GUESTS AT ALL.then we tried to contact the reception and tel operator 4 times , but they deliberately stopped responding to our calls as our room number clearly displays on their screen. Then we called them using one of our mobile phones, the same reception immediately responded assuming it's a outside call, then we clearly told this sound pollution after 10 pm is prohibited in srilanka, and we also complained about their non response , when we called from hotel inform phone, around 11 pm only the sounds were stopped, We initially wanted to offer a good rating but as the reception behaved so badly on our issue, we can offer only 3 out of 5. When check out we complained again and they said its a paid birthday party by outsiders, not the hotel guests. So if u are going to book this hotel and cannot tolerate sound pollution, think twice before booking this hotel. Ideally what the reception and the hotel ownership should do is to either construct a sound proof hall for such functions or else to stop loud music after 10 pm, unfortunately the way thr reception acted was very unpleasant, very unethical.
