The resort offers a choice of four secluded beaches, making this an ideal choice for sun lovers to escape the crowds and completely switch off and unwind. The island of Antigua is known for its laid back charm, and you'll find the atmosphere at the Hawksbill is completely in keeping.
The hotel itself presents a welcoming array of traditional Antiguan style bungalows dotting the shoreline. Garden bungalows are twin or double an offer attractive garden views. All have en suite facilities and feature a safe, ceiling fan and mini fridge. Superior sea view rooms and bungalows are available at a supplement.
The Hawksbill offers a perfect mix of amenities to offer guests the chance to unwind as well as some choices for leisure and amusement. In addition to the choice of beaches and a hotel pool, you will also be able to take advantage of the Wellness Centre. There is also choice of two restaurants and bars and a delicious selection of dishes and refreshments to tempt you.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Myself and my daughter are currently here and are going to be so sad to leave. Every single interaction with all staff (cleaning, bar, waiting, reception, groundskeepers) has been warm and friendly. The food is faultless. All tastes seem to be catered for at the buffet. It's fresh and plentiful and everything has been delicious. We've tried all three restaurants and can't find any criticism with any. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The resort is fairly quiet, it's the perfect place to chill and switch off. We had a beach bungalow so have spent our days dipping in and out of the sea. The pool area is lovely but we didn't spend much time there. The snorkeling off Seagrapes beach has been great. We've had some great weather and the sea has been calm. Perfect for a 6am dip! Flies seem to be a bit of an issue, a few seasoned travellers had brought their own fly repellent fans. Definitely worth the investment. A true testament to the place is the amount of repeat guests they have. I'll be holidaying solo next year and thought I'd probably head back to St Lucia but after being so well looked after at this resort there's a very good chance I'm about to join the list of repeat guests.
This was our 4th trip to Antigua, all in different hotels. This was our 1st time on the West coast. We were pleasantly surprised by Hawksbill, the resort is a relatively short drive from the airport. Check in was fairly quick by Antiguan standards! The room ( Superior Sea View) was large, clean and with a large balcony. We particularly liked the half outdoor shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had fridge stocked with drinks and topped up nearly every day. The TV had Prime which was useful one very rainy afternoon. The resort has several beaches. Eden beach is the furthest and nicest in our opinion but sadly both Eden beach and Honeymoon cove had a lot of mosquitoes and no- seeums. Although lovely to walk and swim , it's difficult for sitting unless you wanted to be bitten. We ended up basing ourselves at the pool and then walking and swimming at the various beaches. The restaurants are good. PD grill at lunch is superb. The main restaurant is good and the one on the beach is OK but we didn't book to eat there in the evening. The bars are a bit odd . The beach bar/restaurant is the one mainly used during the day but the staff were fairly surly. The bar at the main restaurant had absolutely no atmosphere. It's certainly not somewhere to drink before a meal. The staff member who got drinks for the pool however was great (sorry I've forgotten his name) Fortunately we are not great drinkers so it didn't really bother us but it is nice to go out for a drink before dinner. The water sports were good. We took our own snorkelling equipment and the snorkelling was some of the best we have had on the island. Take a float though as the jet skis are a menace, come in far too close and fast and will at some point takes someone's head off! The fishing was Ok too but mainly using a kayak to get further out .Would we go back? Yes definitely. The price was excellent for a week away and I can see his becoming our regular autumn break
We've visited Antigua on many occasions but this was our first time at the Hawksbill, we loved it, If your looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place to stay.
A very charming hotel with beautiful beaches. Great for relaxation and getting away from it all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was good and I ordered lobster on one of the evenings which was cooked to perfection. The head chef came out and spoke to us which was a nice touch. We stayed in the basic rooms at the rear but they were very comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
We've just returned from a 2 week stay at the Hawksbill resort, we had an amazing time, although the room was a little tired we loved it, the beach view was out of this world, it was so relaxing, the resort, the food and the staff were fantastic. There was no seaweed in the sea on that side of Antigua.
