The complex is situated directly opposite the famous Rockley Beach, on the South coast. The town centre of Bridgetown is about 5 km away, and Grantley Adams airport is about 13 km away. Situated around the hotel in St. Lawrence Gap, guests can find various restaurants and nightclubs. Shopping facilities, banks, laundrettes and flower shops can be reached easily on foot.
Both the bold architecture and the strong colours provide a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel comprises 70 rooms of different categories, and features a lobby, a hotel safe, a mini supermarket, a bar, a restaurant and conference facilities. In addition to this, guests may use the laundry service (charges apply), and there is a parking for those arriving by car.
All rooms are fitted with colourful furniture and come with a bathroom/ shower with a hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, a coffee machine, an iron and ironing set, satellite TV, a mini-fridge, a radio and a safe. All rooms also come with a terrace with either a sea or beach view.
The outdoor complex features a pool with a poolside snack bar as well as sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. There is a varied entertainment programme to keep guests amused and entertained. The lively Rockley Beach is famous for being a good site for diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing and boating. The sea and its countless waves also offers the perfect place to go boogie-boarding. In the hotel's surroundings, guests can also go horse riding, play tennis and golf for a special price.
The restaurant, which is situated in the courtyard, has a friendly atmosphere and offers a selection of specialities as well as a unique combination of Creole and local dishes. The bar is the ideal location to enjoy an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as an outdoor pool or take in the view from a terrace. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Nothing actually wrong with hotel or food but just average . Everywhere very clean and found most staff lovely . The hotel could do with a no smoking area as to get to pool area you have to walk through the smoke and smell. Sunbeds on the grass and beach need to be paid for. Quite where the hotel puts guests if they don’t want to pay I can’t imagine as it’s not a large area by the pool. Enjoyed our break but will try elsewhere if go back. Planes going overhead never bothered us but might be a nuisance for some. Many nice restaurants on the roads just outside.
Very dissatisfied this was the second time of going. 1st time it was lovely but this time food was all the same every day, and not very nice, apart from the italian food made fresh. Cleaners did not clean the room several times. Reception were always polite so no complaints there. But unfortunately will not be going again unless something changes. What a shame.
I would reccomand this hotel. I want to point out the waitress Eranda - she is always smiling, she does her Job conscientiously, she is accurate in her Job!
This hotel is very clean location great, 98% staff are wonderful unfortunately 2%are vey rude. If I don’t want to be ripped off for a bottle of water with my evening meal that’s my porogative,not to be rudely spoken too. Food is absolutely dreads no variety or quality. Who serves breakfast on a tea plate.
The hotel is a 4-star property, although it has definitely seen better days. The mattress in our room was quite comfortable, but unfortunately, the pillows were not. We booked a room with a sea view, and the view was absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend choosing a sea-view room — it was worth it! We stayed on a half-board basis. There was a good variety of food, and everything we tried was tasty. The hotel staff were generally very friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping ladies, who were lovely. The beach is rocky and the access to the sea is quite difficult, so I wouldn’t recommend it for families with young children or people with mobility issues. It can also be very windy, with quite large waves. Sun loungers on the beach cost extra, which was disappointing considering that they were old and uncomfortable. The umbrellas were also rusty. Unfortunately, the man collecting payment for the sun loungers was particularly unpleasant. There is a small shop at the hotel with reasonable prices and friendly staff. The hotel also offers transport to Rhodes Town for £9 per person return, which was very convenient. We stayed in September, so there was no problem finding a sun lounger by the pool. Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Despite some things that could be improved, we had a good holiday and really enjoyed the beautiful sea view.
