Great wee hotel

Review by Ramsay M Fortrose, United Kingdom

Had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Infinity. The Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful - great team and the staff in the dining area were very helpful and chatty - great fun - they made everyone feel welcome. I agree with others that the rooms are a wee bit tired and dated but they are clean and well maintained, Really great being able to walk through the bar area onto the beach and into the water - tremendous...

Food was plain and simple but well prepared and presented - would have no hesitation in going back.

Expected better

Stayed for 14 nights in room 320 room was very tired windows didn't close bathroom door was coming off it's hinges so quite difficult to close but needed closing because otherwise door just kept banging in the breeze. Night time in this room was a nightmare the noise from 'My friends place bar' was so very loud with lots of base which vibrated through the room and didn't stop till 1.30 am !!! eventually when we couldn't stand anymore we asked for a room change but unfortunately we were not able to do this as the hotel was full the very nice lady on reception advised us that if the music was on after 12.00 we needed to ring reception and they would call the police, not sure whether the hotel spoke to the bar but after that the music was muted quite a lot and finished at 12.00. Good points tho hotel located on the beach convenient to the bars and restaurants on the gap and Oistins, room cleaned every day with clean towels staff very polite and helpful. Would I stay here again proby not due to lack of sleep.

A great couple of weeks

Review by C4037IXmarkm Northampton, United Kingdom

Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly The hotel is a bit tired but after COVID-19 to be expected The food is good but very predicable The restaurant is closed in the evening which with us booking half board has been a letdown. Food is available at the bar via box meals in the evening Located on a Beautiful beach and great location for bars in the evening Excellent water sports but not included in the hotel We used nice guy based adjacent to the hotel for sailing and surfing and island tours Nicholas Agar has a white sailed hobbie cat

Terrific beach

Review by MalcolmM1947 Richmond-upon-Thames, United Kingdom

Initially, we booked a room on the beach side ground floor of the hotel. The room had no windows and was very gloomy. We arranged an upgrade (US$300 for 2 nights) to a very nice two floor suite overlooking the beach...

The suite with a balcony on each of the 2 floors was very comfortable and it was great to see all the activity on the beach. The beach itself is one of the best on the island is very well run with none of the problems we have had elsewhere in Barbados getting a sun bed and sunshade. The restaurant is fairly rudimentary and no dinner but fortunately there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
It was disappointing that although it appeared that the room wasn't booked after our departure, a late check out from 12.00 to 1400 was not given as 'housekeeping was short staffed'.

Perfect for us

We arrived on the 27th of January for 2 weeks. On arrival we were very kindly given a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse duplex suite. It was perfect and we were so pleased as it made for a wonderful holiday...

The views from the 2 balconies were out of this world, perfect. There was a kitchen area, we did not cook but it was great to be able to make sandwiches and toast etc. No lifts but staff helped with our luggage up and down from the 3rd floor. Perfect location on Dover beach which is one of my favourite beaches and very close to lots of restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay again and would recommend it to everyone!
