Let me start by saying that this place would have received a five star review from us, but a couple of big misses really knocked down our overall experience. We really hate to complain, but there were two things that happened that were not good. There was an alarm system that was loudly chirping starting in the afternoon and went until late morning the next day. No one could sleep. It was awful. It should have been fixed sooner. All night long was just unacceptable. And really, at the very least an apology from management should have happened. Even a note, something. The hotel treated it as if nothing ever happened. Second thing: housekeeping was NOT GOOD. Everyday we put our door sign on for "service please" and we would be gone out of our room all day at the beach and pool, only to come back and find our room not cleaned. Every day I went to the front desk asking for housekeeping and even then it took a couple of hours. Additionally, we had issues when housekeeping did come. They never restocked our water bottles in the fridge. The worst was one day, they removed all of our towels and replaced none of them! I had to spend time at the front desk every day asking for towels, housekeeping service, water bottles, etc. it was very frustrating. Oh - and no restocking of toilet paper! I must say though that the food and beverage staff at the restaurants and bars were OUTSTANDING! Dwayne, Akeem, Trish, Georgiana, Shaq, they were like great friends, hugged them when we left!!!! Others too like Javon, can't remember everyone but so good!!!!!
We spent 2 weeks in July as a family of 4 (children are 12 & 9). Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The stand out point is the staff - everyone is happy to help and provides a welcoming, attentive service. This applied to our children who experienced the same level of service as adults rather than being overlooked. The choice of restaurants is good and food quality is excellent. My only suggestion would be there could’ve been a little more choice of children-friendly meal options at buffets as our youngest found the choices a little too adventurous than she’s used to. Rooms are big and clean - we had a one bedroom suite, which was excellent for a family of four. Pool area was clean and relaxing. Might be as we were there in low season but there wasn’t too many sun beds being reserved early morning so the whole experience was relaxing. The pool area isn’t too busy with sun beds and there’s plenty on the beach, that said if there wasn’t need for additional, staff happily brought some beds over from the beach. Beachfront location is beautiful and the sand is lovely. We found the sea too tough to swim in most days but we did have some calmer days to enjoy a swim. Not much seaweed either. There is a spa which provides a good selection of treatments and the one I had was a lovely experience with an experienced therapist - highly recommend. We loved every day at the O2, too many helpful staff to mention individually and can’t wait to go back.
This place took our breath away, going this time there is the best! Water was crystal clear and our ocean front was amazing! it’s got an adults only side and would say it’s adults oriented but kids are welcome. We have always preferred adults only but it is place but I’m so glad I kept an open mind! Coffee and rum are always spot on and staff were incredible! Can’t wait to come back!!
Going to a spa and paying premium prices only to receive disappointing service is such a frustrating experience. It leaves you feeling like your time and money were completely undervalued.
On the flip side, finding a place that charges a fraction of the cost while delivering true expertise makes all the difference. When the team is genuinely knowledgeable and the atmosphere is welcoming, the entire experience transforms into something truly unforgettable. Those are the kinds of hidden gems worth holding onto. Blank Canvas has the best massages and I can't stop promoting it
This resort truly has an amazing staff. Everyone made our stay so enjoyable, their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service made our vacation even more memorable. The spa experience was remarkable. My husband enjoyed a deep tissue and I had volcanic hot stone massage. Both treatments were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The food was delicious, with plenty of options available throughout the day. We can't thank the staff enough for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning and seeing everyone again.
