Surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, the Akti Beach Village Resort is located directly on the Mediterranean Sea. It is constructed in the typical white architecture of the area and features studios as well as 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. Attractions such the Tombs of the Kings, Coral Bay, the Panagia Winery, Paphos Castle, the Mosaic Museum and the centre of the historic city of Paphos are within easy reach. The village resort is an ideal place for couples and families with children who wish to spend their holidays under the Mediterranean sun.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
What can I say,the place is really nice,the manager and bar staff are really friendly and professional,the cleaners did a fantastic job everyday,they all work really hard,it was our first visit to the country and the hotel,the facilities are absolutely fantastic,we hope to return in the future.food was all very nice you can always find something to eat,the theme nights are great,the entertainment team were amazing the girls absolutely brilliant and full of joy and encourage people to join,we didn't win the quiz nights there were great fun and friendly,hope the manager prints off my review and shears with the whole team,thank you for making us feel welcomed.and making our holiday a blast 🤗🤗❤️😁
Just returned from a 2 week stay here and it was lovely.
We had a studio with a seaview which we paid a little extra fir but it was absolutely worth it. It was lovely sitting on the balcony in the morning watching the sun come up. I would highly recommend this room type. The room was huge with basic kitchen facilities and a really good fridge, which we rammed with alcohol obviously.
They have a little mini market which was reasonably priced considering the hotel really is in the middle of nowhere. Would have been nice to be a bit closer to amenities but we did know this at the time of booking.
Food was good for an AI although did get a little repetitive after the first week. The snack bar by the pool was also nice. I have to say a massive thank you to Eleanor who cooked us wonderful omelette every morning with a huge smile and a chat every morning.
A few of the cocktails were OK although basic, however please consider how much your holiday costs before you complain! This hotel was right next door to the 5 star King Evelthon and we had a little look around but Akti certainly stands in good stead against that one!
Throughout the day there were several activities to take part in, could have lasted a little longer but plenty of them.
We saw a few of the evening entertainment shows which were OK, they didn't last very long but we did enjoy helping the entertainment team pick music after for thd disco and had a boogie a few nights.
All in all we had a really lovely 2 weeks and met some really great people. This holiday will live long in our memories and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Although the hotel is seafront there is no beach but that didn't bother us. There were steps down to the sea which we did use and enjoyed!
Staff very friendly, relaxing outside the room but the rooms themselves are terrible - small, basic and old. I wouldn’t go back.
Lots of good things about the Hotel but some not so.. Firstly the Staff were amazing, really seemed to their Work.. Must mention the Cocktail Bar Service..new to me but to have a server asked as to what you wanted to drink, put it in their electric Pad straight to the bar and brought to you by a different server in Seconds...amazing.. As previously hotel is some way from anywhere..a shuttle bus is run twice a day..downside if you wish to return is you only have a couple of hours before returning.. public buses can be used to return.. 2 Euros each bus.. need to use 3 buses to return from Market area and also 2 from the Harbour.. Taxis are expensive.. Harbour to Hotel was 15 Euros in day rising to 25 Euros at night.. Down side to the Hotel was the food, although it was fairly abundant is always Cold, bring the subject up with Restaurant Manager and his reply was you should have told me, asked why no Microwaves where not available, very weak excuse. Last moan, majority of sun beds are on Grass which had not been cut for some time before after people moaning it was cut 10 days later.. Definitely not 4 Star..
Location was lovely about 5 miles out of Paphos very good atmosphere all staff were very friendly and went out of there way to help our room/studio was very spacious and quiet which Is what we like had everything we needed maybe needs a bit of a update but was happy with it very good value food was very nice lots of different nights which is what we like always plenty to choose from and special thanks to Demetrius Vasco Paulina and all the lovely staff who went that extra mile
