One of the first things you'll notice is the breath-taking view out to sea from this hotel. The view back from the beach is stunning too. That's because the Amphora Hotel and Suites is a beautifully designed four star hotel built in the grounds of an old winery. You can enjoy sunny walks in the grounds, or laze in a sun lounger, poolside.
It's a fine sized pool and the clear blue water is always inviting! There's nothing quite as refreshing as a quick dip after a happy day sightseeing in Paphos. If you're looking to burn up a few more calories, try the well-equipped hotel gym. Your drink by the pool afterwards will feel really well-deserved. The contemporary feel at the Amphora Hotel and Suites continues into the guest rooms. Even before you step out onto the balcony, you can sense the Mediterranean is close by.
There's a wonderfully fresh feel to these rooms that will help ensure you enjoy a comfortable stay. All air conditioned en suite rooms are well-appointed, with flat screen TV, internet access, drinks making facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, phone, and safety deposit boxes.
With a charming garden seating area, a cool bar, and chic restaurant to enjoy, you're invited to sit back and enjoy the four star luxury when you stay at the Amphora Hotel and Suites. Make the most of it.
With uninterrupted views of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, this elegant and contemporary property enjoys a privileged beachfront location on the former site of the SODAP Winery.
The hotel's setting is complemented by its excellent service, a relaxing atmosphere and a great selection of facilities. Within its extensive grounds a sun terrace surrounds a large swimming pool and it's the perfect spot to spend those long sunny days away. The picturesque fishing harbour, medieval castle and the numerous shops, bars and restaurants of Paphos are just a short walk away.
Very good and spacious room ,clean and well positioned to have unobstructed sea views.Very good breakfast.Adjacent to the coastal path and a few minutes walk from the harbour.Nice pool ,and large spaces for relaxing facing the mediterranean.
Air conditioning barely worked hair dryer worked for 30 seconds and then worked the next day and at the breakfast employees didnt clean according to covid 19 proceedures. Also had the worst experience at checkout. Delayed 15 minutes to leave the room and we were bullied from housekeepers amd reception.
Excellent hotel! We love it! The view from the rooms is beautiful! We didn't encounter any problem at all. Would love to go back! There's a basement parking for cars. The fresh orange juice in the morning is delicious!
The hotel on first view is lovely with fantastic sea views from all rooms and a great pool. However as an advertised 4 star hotel I was disappointed. The room, while generally spacious was not well laid out or user friendly...
The bathroom had a very small sink space with nowhere to put our wash things and was right next to the toilet which made it awkward and a bit unhygienic. The rain shower was good though. The bedroom had most facilities I'd expect minus somewhere to put the cases. But while there were sockets, several did not work. The door to the room had a small step up to it which was hidden until you opened the door and far to easy to trip up. The glass door to the balcony was also filthy! Tea and coffee were not replaced during our stay. Breakfast had a good range of food but the cooked food was luke warm. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as it was a free fo all with people parked very badly and the car park used for the restaurant next door as well. Security is also an issue with reception in a separate building to rooms. Anyone can walk up to the rooms from the beach walk. Lack of signage is an issue too - we gave up trying to find the gym. I was also surprised on arrival that we we waived towards our room with no real directions or help. Overall there is so much potential in this hotel but it lacks in too many areas. Definitely not 4 star!!
We had a really nice time in the Amphora. The location by the sea and the external grounds and pool area are lovely. Our room was really nice with a sea view balcony...
The breakfast was nice, with omelettes made to order and a good variety of hot and cold selections. The main thing was the reception staff. They were all really helpful and friendly, especially Yianna (spelling??) who provided my husband with toothbrushes after I had forgotten to pack ours!! We mentioned at check in that our visit was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and when we came back from dinner there was a bottle of bubbly waiting in our room - a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.
