Paphos is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. Steeped in history, but forward looking and fashionable, this small harbour town is a wonderful base for your holiday. Built up around the bustling harbour, Paphos boasts fine beaches, historical treasures and superb, unspoilt landscapes.
The five star Elysium Hotel is on the beachfront at Paphos. You'll be able to sit back and take in the wonderful views, whether that's out over the sea or over Paphos itself from your balcony. From such a luxuriously comfortable setting, you'll be all set for a very memorable holiday.
Staying at the Elysium in Paphos gives you a wonderfully relaxing base for your Cypriot holiday. The beach is so close at hand and the Tombs of Kings, –one of the area's finest historical attractions– is almost next door.
The Elysium has a wonderfully individual sense of style. Architecturally it feels very modern, but also, absolutely in keeping with some of the finest local architecture. The amenities are wide-ranging and provide you with everything you'll need for a very comfortable stay. Highlights include a multi-level pool and a wonderful Royal Pool available to adults only and guests staying in the Royal Wing.
Great emphasis is given to relaxing you utterly. So do take full advantage of the on-site Opium health spa, complete with steam bath, sauna and Jacuzzi. Moreover, when you're fully relaxed and enjoying that deep-down sense of contentment, you can go and take a turn on the tennis court, or in the PADI dive centre. It'll give you a great excuse to go and get relaxed all over again.
One of your biggest decisions each day at the Elysium will be choosing from one of the hotel's five superb restaurants (some seasonal). Then perhaps you can round off the meal with a drink at the bar. There are three to choose from.
Deluxe rooms at the Elysium feature LCD TV with satellite, minibar, safe deposit box, coffee & tea facilities, FREE Wi-Fi and a hairdryer. An upgrade to a sea view room is also available at a supplement. Again, your absolute comfort is given top priority.
Your stay at the Elysium will be as big a part of your holiday experience as any of the wonders of Paphos. For its comfort, elegance and amenities, it deserves every one of its five stars. Get ready to really relax…
The Elysium enjoys a beachfront setting, adjacent to the Tombs of the Kings. It boasts unique architectural character and charm, it is furnished and decorated to very fine standards and offers stylish accommodation, excellent facilities and an array of extensive dining options.
We arrived to the hotel , spontaneously, wanted to book 2 rooms, each family with 2 kids We got to the reception the lady there started with “bring me the passports and Credit card” I said Hello to you as well im well thank you for asking and can i please know which rooms you have ? She said you can take 4 rooms I answered i need 2 Then she said that the rooms are max 3 ppl so if i have 2 kids i need to pay for an extra room for them to stay 🤣 Well, they’re 4 and 6 and the other family kids are 1 and 5 so no way we are taking for the kids another room We do mind if one of the kids will be in bed with us but they cant be alone
The answer was “lady this is our policy if you font want it take the villa and sleep together all 2 families “ At this point i was looking at her manager behind her waiting to see if he will say anything or stay there forgetting how a service provider should behave Of course he didnt say anything Obviously its Covid time and they need to make money somehow so why not forcing ppl to take 4 rooms or a villa?!
Then i took my family and left the hotel, we met the other family that came with us outside the hotel in the car and explained the situation And the kind manager sent the valet man to tell us to drive away (he didn’t even had the guts to come on his own cause his a very bad useless manager )
Bottom line These kind of places doesn’t deserve to be the ones to make a living while all other places are struggling and welcoming every visitor that will come at this period of time
Katie Daniels and the rest of the team in Elysium Hotel were simply Brilliant! Everything, from the initial conversation of my request to the creation of my special event, exactly as I wanted it. My stay and the service was stunning! In Elysium impossible is nothing!
This is our favourite hotel and once again, the hotel, staff, food and drinks did not disappoint. On arrival we were greeted with enthusiasm by the reception? Given an upgrade to our lovely room. Where ever we went, whether it was the pool area, restaurant we were greeted by our names...
The staff were excellent, particularly under the current Covid19 situation we find ourselves. We definitely recommend this hotel as one of the best in Cyprus. Thank you to you all
We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Since getting married here in 2013 we’ve returned every year and now with our growing family too who love it just as much as we do. Aside from the beautiful decor and lovely food, it’s the staff that stand out the most here...
They remember us without fail every time we come and always make us feel special. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it really makes us feel at home. Special mention to Rachel and the team at the kids club, they are amazing! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in paphos! Thank you to you all and hopefully see you soon!
We were blown away by this property! Wheras we fould the area in general not that attractive, the hotel is a destination by itself.
It looks like a Ritz Carlton somewhere in Florida (god knows why they choose this spanish style for a hotel on Cyprus), but it surpasses a U. S. Ritz-Carlton in every respect.
The staff, the rooms, the dining: everything was top notch...
You could really tell, that every member of staff enjoyed working there.
Best thing was the breakfast buffet: seldom if ever have we encountered such a variety of high quality, in many cases local, delicacies! It was a foodie's dream.
Would love to come back in warmer months to enjoy the gorgeous outside pool area.
