The best
Fantastic holiday in a fantastic Hotel again. I asked if we could have the same room as in the summer and of course they sorted that out also it was my wife’s birthday on the first day so they left us a card and a bottle of bubbly very nice thought. As usual all the staff were fantastic but especially Irini who is a shining star of this hotel . So to all the staff a big thank you and have a merry Christmas and a happy new year see you soon.
1 holiday in Cyprus and at the Leda Beach hotel, but really liked it
First time in Cyprus, I came on my own for 3 weeks, I was very surprised by the homely atmosphere, I really liked the hotel, warmth, responsiveness, understanding and care. Excellent cuisine, everything is always very fresh, tasty, varied, the cooks are friendly and nice staff. About the bars - caring, attentive, smiling and can always tell you if you don’t know about a cocktail and offer to try your own version. The room is generally clean and tidy, but sometimes it felt like they weren’t vacuuming or sweeping away sand brought from the beach on shoes. The refrigerator was regularly replenished, everything super! The reception is always ready to help, friendly and glad that they can communicate in many languages. I was very lucky that during the 3 weeks of my stay at the hotel, the animators offered a variety of programs every day. Nice girls Sofia and Alexandra, always caring, talkative, friendly !!!I participated every day in all activities - yoga, shuffleboard, stretching, archery, boccia, sometimes I joined in dancing, despite my 70 years. Age does not matter here! We are all on the same wavelength! My favorites, it was the most pleasant moment of the holiday, the animators were always everywhere, on the beach, and near the pool, in the restaurant and in the hall, they always come up, smile, ask how you are doing, set the mood for a positive and are ready to talk and smile at everyone! Overall, I was very pleased with the holiday and I hope that I will come here again next year! Thank you!
Could be very good, not on this occasion.
Our first visit to the hotel and we met so many repeat guests who raved about the hotel. Sadly our experiences differed from many.
Positives:
Location right next to the beach. Bus 611 a regular service into Paphos Staff, most very obliging Comfy Beds Fridge in room Sun loungers with thick cushions Hotel very clean in main lobby and main dining room, not so rooms and bedroom corridors.
Negatives:
Pool Towels Fraying Pool area not kept clean Our room was dusty and never fully cleaned throughout our 7 night stay. We had to ask to get our sheets changed. The bathrooms are very dated, mould on tiles and round the bath edge. Finally and most important the food. Plenty of choice but often luke warm. Several times had to request that the porridge was heated up. Lunchtime buffet always better than the evening meal. If we went down to the restaurant after 7-30pm food choice was very limited. Buffet clearly enjoyed by those who pile their plates up high and ignore any quality on offer. Dress code of trousers always ignored by the duty managers, shorts, flip flops and cut off jeans regularly seen.
This hotel a 3/4 star not a 4 star plus as rated. Could be very good if attention to detail was improved.
Amazing holiday
Been back home a week now and seriously wish we were back. This was our second time here and already planning for next year. Paphos really gets under your skin, add this hotel and you never want to come home. The staff are amazing, food is always amazing and the hotel right on the beach is more than amazing. No matter where you go in this hotel the staff are very friendly, helpful and polite, from the management all the way through. Bar and restaurant staff are full of fun and make your holiday special. From pulling up to the hotel, being met by Athena, luggage took to room, reception staff more than helpful. To our 10 nights of heaven it was one of the best holidays we have had and we can’t wait to be back
Returned Visit
We have been to this hotel many times but this time it was a bit different, children running around the restaurant getting food and hot drinks on their own, running in the Lobby Bar and generally running around the hotel unsupervised. The Animation are French and not very friendly and most of the children were not English. The food is hit and miss not very hot also the plates were cold so made it even colder. We sat at the far end of The Lobby Bar and had to wait a fair time to be served. The staff are wonderful one of the reasons we have returned over the years, Sandra, Cristos, Nicky and the two managers in the restaurant. They have doubled the amount of sun beds around the adult pool they are soo close together not good. The bathrooms need updating the floor in our room moved when you walked in. We will probably return if our group of friends decide to return. Just a note us older people who come every year are very loyal please can we have our Lovely Ledra back
