Within easy reach of the town and harbour of Paphos by local bus service, the Venus Beach offers good standards of comfort and amenities. Overlooking the sea, near The Tombs of the Kings, one of Paphos's famous archaeological sites, the hotel is set in peaceful gardens which contain a large outdoor pool.
We enjoyed our time in Paphos at the the Venus beach Hotel so much last year that we had booked again for this year. The Hotel was great as were the staff and food. Very pleasant pool area to relax before going out to see the many fascinating sites around Paphos such as the Tomb of the Kings and not to be missed " Mosaics ", We were booked to be with you on 29th April for 10 days...
Let's hope this problem is over soon and we can enjoy the Venus beach later in the year.
Michael we Stayed at the Venus last June 2019 had a great stay lovely hotel great food really good selection all the staff were great nice clean rooms excellent facilities good location easy to get to anywhere staying again for 2 weeks in late may.june looking forward to going again.
We stayed here for a week in October. The staff were lovely all the way through from reception to us leaving. the room was lovely very clean and plenty of space...
We attended a wedding there and was looked after amazingly!!! Thank you Alex!! Big shout out to tassos also. Bar Terrance is a great place to watch the sunset with very friendly staff. Thanks to you all at venus beach
First time to Cyprus and didn’t know which hotel to choose. We decided on this hotel as it had its own beach where many more expensive hotels did not. It was clean and well maintained...
All staff were lovely and helpful. We decided on bed and breakfast only as we wanted to explore round Pafos and eat out at various places or stay in and sit on our balcony watching the amazing sunset after buying meats, bread and pastries. There was a little fridge in the room which was ideal. Would recommend the hotel to those who do not wish to spend a fortune. The hotel had a gym and you were able to get a massage which my friend and I had the day of our flight back. Very enjoyable stay and would go back.
If your looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the place. We arrived very late in the night and the reception staff was so welcoming and ensured that we had some food and a drink before we went to bed.
Food was delicious and we enjoyed the live cooking. There were small choices but we were glad so food wasn't wasted...
However, we do wish there was more seperate vegetable choices. There is a restaurant section, separate to the outside dining, but we was excepting a la carte menu and table service. Just something different to add too the hotel experience. However, it was just an extension of the buffet area but required a different dress code and also on the board stated a different menu.
Actitivies where quiet but there was something going on but I think because it was out season, not many people where interested in joining in. My husband and I normally join in but we were so preoccupied with wedding plans and relaxing we didn't join in any activities. The main bus station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and we travelled to Limassol, the harbour is beautiful but apart from that, that is all it was worth going for. The Aphrodite Waterpark in Paphos, is so much fun and we had great laughter watching our friends being spat out of the cannon ball slide.
Beach is beautiful, although despite staying at the hotel, you still need to pay 2.5 euros per bed and per umbrella. Sea is lovely to swim in and is safe. There is also a lifeguard on duty.
Rooms were very average and the balcony was tiny. Unfortuately, we would not rate this hotel a 4*, possible 3*, although it did appear that the hotel was trying to make its appearance better. Please keep improving, things will get better.
Thank you for a pleasant stay.
